Official Matt Hamill Support Thread

Judging from the looks of the forum, we are all pretty pissed off about what happened in the Hamill/Bisping fight. However, I am not going to take the route that many of you have taken and just spam up with useless threads, instead I am going to try and do something that will make a change.

No, there is no way this decision can be reversed. That is not the attempt of this thread. The fight was judged by three judges, not under the hire of the UFC. This thread is in no way, shape or form implying that the UFC pays off their judges or anything else nuts like that.

This is simply the Matt Hamill support thread.

Face it guys, there is nothing we can do now except show Hamill our support. Even if you didn't like him before, found him boring and such, you have got to admit, he was robbed in that fight. On top of all of this, Matt has improved himself immensely and has become a very well rounded fighter. He was putting on an exciting display on the feet, and still using his extensive wrestling background to control the fight. In fewer terms; that was the best Matt Hamill we have ever seen.

Soooo, stop spamming up the forums, and please post in here if you feel Hamill was robbed. Anymore Hamill/Bisping threads will either be closed, or depending on subject, be merged into here. There are already many many Hamill/Bisping threads where you can discuss your views.

Positive comments in this thread will be emailed to Matt Hamill.

I agree with this.

Is there a way we could have a thread with contact info for the UFC so we can direct our thoughts there as paying customers of the UFC?

This thread will be shown to the UFC, the judges, Mike Bisping and Matt Hamill. It will be done in a positive format, to avoid trolling and spamming.

Let's keep the support coming.

I know Matt is very competetive... duh. But, he has no reason to be hard on himself or ashamed of his performance. More than showing his 'new' colors, Matt showed us that he can be an exciting fighter. Let's face it, being a great fighter is not enough any more, you need to keep today's fans rivited.
I'm sure he has a bright future in this sport, and I hope to see alot more of him in the years to come.

I personally do not care for Matt Hamill or his fighting style but he clearly won this fight. I am a fan of Bisping but he did not do enough to win a Split Decision IMHO.

You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I have a whole new respect for Matt Hammill.

Thank you for representing our Country so well.

You won that fight young man, have no doubt of that.

I actually liked Mike Bisping before this fight, I like both fighters. God bless them for thier superior talent.

But in the end, I have turned my total support to Matt Hammill for how he fought, how he forged himself and how he handled the situation that was unjustly thrusted upon him.

Thank you young man. I have loved MMA for the last four years. Fighters like you make me proud and I hold you up as an example to those trying to get into the sport.

Even the most bias Bisping fan (myself) could see that Hammill won that fight. At best it was 2-1 in favor of Hammill and I was really dissapointed wit Bispings performance.

But lets not hold it against Bisping peeps,, its not like he had a whole lot to do with that.

I must say I was fairly impressed with Hammill's improved stand up and his overall game plan for the fight. He did everythin he could to win that fight and well obviously shoud've won...
