Question Need input: My own UFC Rankings

Ok, understand this is only for the UFC.

Also take into account I have only been utterly in love with MMA and the UFC for the last 3 or 4 years.

I fully recognize there are dozens upon dozens upon dozens of you that have more knowledge than I do.

My friends and I talk about rankings a lot. I know a few publications have thier own as does MMAweekly.

Despite the fact he is champion its hard to put Matt serra as a better fighter then GSP, hughes, diego, karo or really any top 5.

good feedback

Matt Serra - he is there because he is the current champion in the UFC.

Brandon M. He's the Team Punishment fighter that beat Heath Hearing and a few others....couldnt remember his last name off the top of my head - lol - I could very well be wrong.

Kampmann at MW. Ok.

suggestions :

HW's: well ill start of by saying that you havent included the best of the HW in he world... Fedor Emelianenko. and gonzaga is by far not number 3.

LHW's : i think Shogun should top this list, Rampage is good... but not nr. 1. I dont think Ortiz should be that high and Rashad shouldnt be on the list at all. And Hammil !?!

MW : well... matt lindland should top this list. and what about paolo filho ?

WW : matt serra is NOT the best WW in the world .. period.

LW : as with the HW's you seem to not take the pride fighters into account. you dont even have Gomi on the list... and he should be at least among the top 3.

PS. go to youtube and watch some fedor and gomi clips

HW.

As much as I dig the guy, Couture should not be number 1. Fedor still holds that spot.

Gonzaga is way too high, and it should be Barnett in that spot.

Kongo's way too high. Like, really, really high. He was unranked coming in.

Werdum, again, is too high on the list. He owns a nice win over Aleks, but then followed it up with a horrible performance against Arlovski. Either 9 or 10 for him, and it doesn't matter which place.

Who is Jason M.?

Frank Mir shouldn't be anywhere near a top 10 list. He hasn't beaten anyone worth a damn since 04.

LW.

Henderson is too high on the list. Put him after Shogun.

Jardine being ranked before Alexander confuses me. Then again, Jardine being in a top 10 list confuses me, and I like Jardine. Take Alexander out of there, too.

No, Matt Hamill should not be in the top 10. Take him out. Nakamura should be mentioned. Trim the fat a little, and it'd be semi-decent. Jardine, Alexander, & Matt Hamill do not belong. Even Forrest doesn't belong, and I like Forrest.

MW.

Franklin shouldn't be number 2. That should go to Paulo Filho.

MacDonald, Lister, Grove, Starnes, & Cote should not be listed. Instead, put Lawler, Misaki, Trigg, Kang, and the almighty Frank Shamrock.

Marquardt's too high on the list. Then again, MW is tricky, since it's not really that deep.

WW.

I still think Serra being number 1 is just wrong. I still think either GSP or Hughes should take that spot given that they accomplished more than Matt Serra.

Take Burkman, Swick (Who hasn't even fought at WW yet), and Alves out.

LW.

Penn has only beaten Pulver recently. He shouldn't be ranked as number 1.

Neer is with the IFL, Edwards is with Bodog, and Varner is in the WEC.

Yes, Alessio is in the WEC.

Horn likes to do the small show circuit, always had. Who knows if he'll ever come back.

I had to include non-UFC guys since you did so yourself.

Brandon M? He beat Heath Herring when and where? I don't remember Heath losing to a guy named Brandon?
