Cheik Kongo, should he have been DQ'ed?

Not only as a fighter am I posting this, but just as a man in general. I am watching this fight and studying it to see what Kongo did to keep Cro Cop backing up and I just found out CC broke his rib in the first round. Not only that, but CC's genitalia was pretty close to terminated last night.

First off, Kongo does it in the 2nd round the first time with his crappy Muay Thai clinch (which if he just elevated it a bit he could give this knee's right to the body) instead he got CC right in the nuts. No point taken off, okay... moving on!

Now second, we are in the 4th round and CC is again backed up in the cage while Kongo commences the Muay Thai clinch. Not only does he do it once, he delivers a total of 3 knee's to the groin to CC! From the warning in the 2nd round and the point taken off the other one and then him deciding to keep doing it, he should have been disqualified.

And here is the thing about taking "5 minutes" to regain yourself after this happens. YOU CANT. In a fight, you need to breathe and when you get knee'd in the groin it makes your stomach weezy and you feel dizzy and you cant even catch a good breath even if you tried for a good 10 minutes. CC being a croatian decided to just go with it, and it ended up costing him the fight.

I'm not a fan of either, but that was just plain BS last night. I can see Bisping getting the decision to prevent a riot from happening. But this? no reason!

I only saw the first 3 rounds of this fight, can someone sum up for me what happened in the 4th round? :confused02: ;)
Thats my bad I meant to put 3rd, sometimes when I get mad I start typing random shit. Obviously its not a title fight so 4 or 5 shouldnt even be entering my mind while im posting this, but im still so mad about CC's fight and Hamill's fight.

do you consider wincing in pain solid evidence?
No I wouldn't.

Not a DQ, but points right when CC looked at the ref like "wtf" as Kongo sent another knee to the sack.

Despite the nutcracker events I think CC was doomed for a loss after the first round rib crack. My g/f and I wondered why he wasn't pushing the pace like he did in the first round. Now we know why.

Balls busted or not I think Mirko was already done.... :sad02:

this is a joke topic...obviously CC fanboys will say yea..he should have been DQ'ed, but kongo did break his rib, its not like it was already broken going into the fight to hender his performance

If it really extreamly hurt crocop with his cup on, He could have taken up to 5minutes, I dont think he even took a full minute to rest up, So you CC fanboys keep on dreaming

I like CC as a fighter but I wont go out of the way and give him a win for something that prolly didn't even hurt him that much(i am basing this off his time resting, which was not even a full minute)
This is also a very good point. CC didn't use up the full 5 minute rest, I don't think he even rested for half that, he just got up and kept fighting. Props to him if he did that to look tough and he actually was hurt, but if he was seriously hurt then he shouldn't try to be a hero.
