Next for Kongo?

Well, he is huge. He didn't have a ground game before but he didn't look bad on the ground against Crocop which isn't saying a whole hell of a lot but you would think after that Carmello loss he would have said "Look, I have the Muay Thai thing down...I better learn how to fight on the ground because that is going to be almost everyone's game plan against me." So maybe he is getting there, we don't know yet. But there isn't a heavyweight striker (Arlovksi, Sylvia, Vera) that I would take against him if I had money on it. I dunno. Who does he fight next? I think Gonazaga and I KNOW Couture would school him. Sylvia and Vera are busy. Arlovski makes sense. I would take Kongo in that fight easily. What does everyone else think?

Hopefully, they stick him in there with Nog, and the winner of that faces Randy Couture. Of course, since Nogueira's a grappler, he'd beat Kongo, who has the striking thing down and not much else.

My Nog nuthuggery wants this fight to happen.

They shouldn't do what they did with Gonzaga and put him in a huge fight right away. While I love Kongo, he isn't ready for the likes of Nog yet, his groundgame has improved a lot he certainly isn't ready for the best groundfighter in the world.
I wouldn't mind seeing the two 'Mirko killers' go at it. Give him the loser of Sylvia/Vera, or Brock Lesnar when he comes.

Kongo is basically a bigger version of Cyrille Diabate and as soon as he faces a submission guy with skills he will get school like Diabate vs Babalu. Kongo vs Nogueira or Gonzaga someone with a strong ground game and who is good enough to stand with him long enough to take him down. his ground game is horrendous.

Well yeah, because Tim probably won't take Kongo down.
