GSP, should he have been DQed?
Not only as a fighter am I posting this, but just as a man in general. I am watching this fight and studying it to see what GSP did to keep Matt Hughes backing up and I just found out Hughes chipped his toe nail in the first round. Not only that, but Hughes's genitalia was pretty close to terminated at UFC 65.
First off, GSP does it in the 1st round the first time with his crappy leg kick (which if he just elevated it a bit he could give his shin right to the body) instead he got Hughes right in the nuts. No point taken off, okay... moving on!
Now second, we are still in the 1st round and Hughes is again backing up in the cage while GSP commences the leg kicks. Not only does he do it once, he delivers a total of 3 kicks to the groin to Hughes! From the warning before, he should have been disqualified.
And here is the thing about taking "5 minutes" to regain yourself after this happens. YOU CANT. In a fight, you need to breathe and when you get knee'd in the groin it makes your stomach weezy and you feel dizzy and you cant even catch a good breath even if you tried for a good 10 minutes. Hughes being an American decided to just go with it, and it ended up costing him the fight.
I'm not a fan of either, but that was just plain BS last year.

St Pierre did 1, The one that Hughes took the time out hit his leg but make his leg go numb...If i remember correctly Matt Hughes admitted that himself.

Yup, first one was accidental, second one Hughes admitted did not catch his junk but rather shot a pain down his leg. He should've taken the kick and not faked, but as you admit, he is American.
