I'll just pretend this was a reply. It does make a difference, and I see your point, but rib shots are a tactic, and if you can hit hard enough to break someone's rib, then you have done exactly what you need to do in a fight.
I have to wonder if Kongo might not just wound crocop some other way in a rematch... FWIW I'd say the crotch shots were a a serious problem as well and those were technically illegal, I'd mention them before the rib as any sort of argument that he'd win a rematch.

CRO-SLOP is an overrated has-been, 2 UFC curtain pullers proved that.
why would they pay this man 350K per fight to take a dive?

he has a contract. im sure his next one (if he gets another, perhaps from a different organization) will be less lucrative.

Seems pretty obvious to me watching that fight he did not take a $350k dive (or whatever crazy amount they're paying him) but was just shut down by Kongo (Kongo breaking CC's rib was part of the pain bringing).
