Angry Cro Cop taking a dive???

Sorry but was extremely obvious, he a beaten k1 champions, fought with some of the top pride fighters and beaten many of them. He wasn't even tring in the first round and still beaten cheik kongo, kongo had little skill and don't tell me Cro Cop was scared of kongo, he has beaten Bob Sapp.

To make it worse the ufc commentators where saying how congo has it all, the look the name and so fourth, so I am left wondering was it gangsters or the ufc leaning on Cro cop to take a dive, to sell thier new "fighter". If you think I am chatting crap just look at his fights, wins and losses, he is a very experienced fighter, congo is not, and congo's skill, well where the hell where they.

It looked like Cro Cop could of steped on the gas and masacred konga at any time, but just kept steping back, just going through the motions.

Not unlike the many Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz, Tito being the new guy they wanna sell, Ken has just came out back out of WWF, so he is used to taking dives cause that type of wrestling is all fixed anyways. Just watch Ken beat crap out of strikers well above Tito's level.

Cro Cop if your out thier and you can read this, A fighter only has thier pride, you don't sell it. You can tell at the begining you had your head down, you knew what your was doing was wrong. Don't do it again lad.

Yeah i'm sure the UFC is paying Cro-Cop like $300,000 a fight to lose.

Hes been around for a long time. His skills may be diminishing a bit.

ok where to begin with this.....mostly because im not sure if your kidding here lol

cc has done a great job in k1...and pride.....for many different reasons....the main reason being there platforms....use a four cornered ring.....this allows cro cop to stalk his opponent and intimidate them into the corners....and to his advantage....if hes facing an opponent stronger then him....that wants to impose there will on him.....there left with out the means of holding him at bay against the ropes.....where as you saw in the kongo fight.....he was pressed against the cage...

as for other reasons for cro cops lackluster performances....it does seem like he really dosnt want to be there anymore....perhaps he thinks hes getting older.....and dosnt have the choose.....the man has repeatedly talked about retiring...

as for why cro cop did so poorly against kongo....i believe he broke a rib somewhere in the first round....and struggled.....to avoid showing it

in closing i dont think in anyway cro cop took a dive in that fight.....usually with dives....a fighter would prefer to take one "big hit" and go down....it allows for the fighter to decrease the amount of injury they would endure in a regularly lengthed match up.....

as for the tito vs ken fights....tito won mostly because ken had aged....and lets face it....mma and the ufc have changed a great deal since ken was running shit in the 90's

this being said.....i do believe there are dives in mma.....just not in two fights you described

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

agree

If Cro Cop's Ribs were not broken then he would have won.

But going 3 rounds fighting with 2 broken ribs and getting hit in the sac has got to be painful.

If Crocop hadn't broke Bob Sapps orbital bone, he would have won.
If Crocop didn't get KTFO by Gonzaga he would have won
If David Heath hadn't been so bloody he would have won
If Jens Pulver hadn't been choked out he would have won
If Heath Herring hadn't been beaten he would have won

See what I am getting at here? Get back to your corner. This stuff pisses me off, Kongo kicked him in the ribs. CC didn't break his own ribs, Kongo had the pleasure of doing it for him. If CC had an existing injury then maybe we could start to make excuses, but he didn't. He got beat in the ring fair and square. Dominated.

As for the 'nuts' thing, what can I say. Big John warned Kongo for the only ones he (and we) saw. He gave him a stern warning, and gave Mikro 5 minutes to recover (of which he barely used up half) End of story. This stuff happens in MMA all the time.

It's the thread starter's first post...which makes me unwilling to provide a well-thought out response. Trolling at its best here.

This isn't the WWF bud. You don't pay someone $300 k to lose fights.
