Chuck Lidell vs. Mauricio Rua for the next title shot!

How about it Chuck Liddell(18-4) vs. Mauricio Rua(16-2) for the next title shot at 205! Saying that both fighters win in UFC 76 this could be a great fight. It would bring some serious talk and questions on who would win. Chucks dynamite hands and take down defense vs. Rua's monster all around game. I think this is the most reasonable and deserving fight for the next shot at Rampage. This would be a hard fight to call in my opinion. What do you guys think and why?

I think Dana cums in his pants everytime he thinks about Chuck vs Wenderlai fight. <---this fight will happen first, it's been dana's dream for many years.

Its a good idea. But I rather see Chuck fight Wanderlei then if Chuck wins then fights the winner of Rampage vs. Shogun.

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

While I wouldn't mind seeing this match up at all, but as it's already been stated, I'd rather see Chuck vs. Silva first. No reason to delay it any longer. Give Shogun an immediate title shot after Forest, assuming he wins.

i don't think it right for now...like everyone else is saying let Chuck fight WAndy first then the winner of that fights the loser of Shogun and Rampage.....then who ever wins that gets thte shot or something around the lines of that

shogun needs to get in line.if he beats forest then he needs to fight the winner of liddell/jardine.

Rampage didn't have to get in a very long line. Why should Shogun? Shogun is ranked by many the top LHW in the world. I don't see why he has anymore to prove that he hasn't already.

agreed. shogun definetely deserves the shot if he beats forrest. he has waited long enough. then liddell vs. wandy, if liddell beats jardine. then winner of liddell and wandy face winner of shogun and rampage. dig?

Just Like A. Silva

Shogun's enterance into the UFC is being handled just like A. Silva's was. They are putting him up against a very popular TUF fighter (Leben in A. Silva's case), and I predict after he destroys Forrest, he will immediately be given a title shot, just like A. Silva after Leben.
