After his fight with Forrest Griffin at UFC 62, Stephan Bonnar had to give a urine sample and it tested positive for Boldenone, a type of steroid that is used to treat injured horses. A complaint was filed against Stephan Bonnar by the Nevada State Atheltic Commission. Bonnar could be fined up to $250,000.

I hope that this is a mistake considering he is one of my favorite fighters!:( Anyways, what are your thoughts on this matter!

I dont know his reasons. But Tim Sylvia said he only used them to get the "six pack" look. He claimed that no matter what he did he could never get any visable ab muscles. Now I know not everyone has "ripped" genetics to where anyone can look cut up. But roids wont help that. I think it was a bad excuse. I wonder what Bonner will try to say. He should be removed from UFC, he was given the UFC card, for his preformance at TUF finale. But he did not win. IMO He has done nothing to impress me since then.

a lot of good the juice did. man, there is no way they'll ever be able to completly get rid of steroids or other random juices... its such a shame that in a sport like this, that's entire purpouse is training and man to man combat... people feel the need to ****ing cheat... this is honestly why i hate most sports, and now mma is just as bad... so ****ing dumb.

anyone...ANYONE who uses steroids or anything you have to put in your body to benefit from, is a ****ing *****!!!

unbelievable

Boldenone: Information From Answers.com
It is a poor drug of choice for any athlete who will be subject to a blood test due to its long metabolic half-life. Trace amounts of the drug can easily be detected for months after discontinued use.

Bonnar has until September 26th to respond to or dispute this complaint in writing, and then a disciplinary hearing will be set. Bonnar faces a fine and suspension from the NSAC.

If he denies the use of it, the NSAC will simply have him give another urine sample. He is done. That crap is going to be in his system a minimum of a couple of months. What was he thinking! So much for that 6 figure contract.

Is he still waiting for abs cause he has a spar tire right now. What a crap excuse! Sylvia should have been kicked out of the UFC for good when he was tested positive. What a disgrace to MMA.
