lots of strong guys in this thread no doubt here...

I am going to have to go with Couture on this one …and I am not a nut-hugger at all with this champ. The reason I would pick him amongst my favorite MMA fighters is that he is so f@#kin’ strong at his age right now and he can handle giants …imo. Where does one get this good at this point in there life??? If I was ever a big MMA fighter myself I would hope that I could have the same raw power, fitness level and just over all cardio as the great Randy Couture. Cheers to Randy …your one strong dude man!!!!!!

As for sheer physical strength, I'm going to go with Matt Hughes or Rampage. Hughes because I've literally seen him choked within an inch of unconsciousness, pop out and pick the guy up, carry him across the ring and throw him down on his head. Rampage because he lifed Arona over his head like a paper weight.

Other honorable mentions would be Randleman and perhaps Sherk, but I don't include juicers.

Look at that slam at the start.
Holy, dude is a tiny monster.

I would say GSP, Randleman(maybe before), Rampage and Tito.

EDIT: LOL Calibretto you beat me too it (Randleman)

Matt Hughes has lots of power …I don’t like his character in general, but I will admit …he has carried men like feathers and slam the across the ring in the past …almost like a WWF guy …he has a lot of raw power pound for pound as well.

I'm not sure if I've ever seen anyone throw people the way Fedor does. He made Nog and Herring look like WW fighters.

I don't think Fedors the strongest, especially p4p. Its just excellent technique combined with great core strength.
That takedown on herring was impressive though.
