Arrow Fighters and their camps?

How does a fighter training at one camp versus another, effect his win/loss streak? Is training at one camp gunna help you out more than training at another?

I've always thought that Diego Sanchez should go to Chute Boxe. I think that'd make a hell'eva monster. How do you think it would effect Diego if he trained at Chute Boxe?

And how come fighters dont train with two different camps?
Like Chute Boxe for Mauy Tai, and then Xtreme Couture for BJJ? (Or do they?)

depends on the fighter. typically most fighters stick to one camp when they can because they consider it a matter of loyalty. If they need training in something their gym can't offer, or if two fighters from one gym are going to fight each other, then typically they will go elsewhere. not always though.

some camps are known for certain things...
miletich is reknowned for their conditioning
team quest is a great grappling gym ( just look at hendo, couture and lindland)

you get the idea.

Chute Boxe is mainly a muay thai camp, but they all have pretty good bjj as well.

its technically a "shooto" camp. but they train some muay thai, obviously.
as for bjj- thats a given. you don't train that at all and you get owned. those are the rules.

It comes down to loyalty.

Think about it, Shogun is to fight Griffin. Shogun is Chute Box and so is Silva but when Silva went to train at Coutures gym, it made Shogun upset because Griffin also trains at Coutures gym. There could be alot of problems like this.

Why did Wand go to Couture's gym? Why didn't he stay with Chute Boxe?

thats one of the reasons diego sanchez left his original gym.
st. pierre moved to his camp and diego got offended or something... i forget. theres a thread on it here somewhere. anyways, diego left for a different camp on loyalty reasons.
