I dont know how I feel about this. Big step up for Mir. What do u guys think? I think Big Nog will take this. I think he will keep it standing and box with him and get a sub late in the first rd.

Jesus, talk about tossing Mir to the sharks.

I mean, the guy just came off a confidence building fight with Hardonk and now he's fighting the #3 ranked HW in the world? WTF are you smoking Joe Silva?

This is a great fight.

Either Nog in the first or Nog by Decision.

Screw this fight, I have no clue what Joe Silva is thinking. Nog should win easily. Scratch that, Nog has to win easily.

But what happens if Mir actually wins? Unlikely, I know, but if he does is he next in line for a title shot? I mean really, they're saying Nog is already in line when Randy gets healthy, so why have him fight a nobody? If he loses, is he still getting a title shot?

If Nog has to fight again before Randy, shouldn't it be against a contender so that if he does lose, they still have a clear contender for the title shot?

This match sucks.

Has Mir ever gone three rounds? The old fights of his I have seen he has started to gas badly pretty early on. I remember his second fight with Wes Sims, it was like he could barely keep upright. He managed to throw a hand and knock Sims down, but he made it look like it was the last act of a dieing man.

The post-accident fights don't fill me with belief that he is now a Cardio freak.

All it takes is one punch/kick. See Herring/BG III.

But yeah, Big Nog should win.

I'm glad they're building up Big Nog and getting him more exposure, but when the hell did Mir become a title-shot gatekeeper, let alone a top 10?

Do they know something we don't, has Mir become.. AWESOME?
