It's not like CroCops ground game sucks, it's not Nogs level but it's still alright. Kongo has a smart camp, 90% of Kongo's training would probably be defending the takedown and the rest of his ground game. Kongo will probably be using his jab alot more to keep the distance, and will be throwing less kicks. Like I said Nog will most likely win easily, I just like this fight better.

I think it was UFC 62 where Kongo called out Mir, I think it would be a good fight and I don't think Mir is neccesarily running away from Nog because they need to build him back up because think about fighting Hardonk then Nog?

Kongo would have ZERO chance against Nog. Did you see him against Marrero. He got OWNED. Nog 100 times better than Marerro. This fight would be a joke. Mir vs Kongo would be a little better but Mir would take him down and get the submission.

Cro Cop's ground game is actually below average as far as offense. And seriously his takedown defense against Silva was horrendous. Frank Mir has the perfect ground game to beat Kongo. Frank Mir actually has the perfect ground game to beat anyone who doesn't know what they are doing on the ground look at his wins.

Anyone who has ever watched a NOG fight knows that he would dominate mir and kongo, but someone has to give him a fight before he goes up against "The Natural". I think that they should feed NOG a top ten guy, because if he wants to take on the natural he needs to be prepared for the mental aspect of the cage, more so than the physical aspect. So in closing give NOG Kongo, it will most definetly be more exciting than Mir NOG, besides Mir is washed up and he will never be able to grasp the belt again. Also Kongo just might kick NOG's head off in the first minute, "that guy is huge (KONGO)"

You know, this fight kind of makes sense, considering where both guys are in the pecking order right now. Kongo only really made the main card at UFC 75 because of Cro Cop, anyway.
But Mir does come across like a guy who wants to pick his battles. I don't have a big problem with Mir vs. Big Nog. Though I'd much rather see Nog vs. Arlovksi, I think Mir has a chance if he keeps working on his cardio. His standup's much better than he gets credit for, and he stands a chance at outmuscling Nog on the ground if he can keep his wind. Nog doesn't usually fight guys this big who are anywhere near as good at BJJ as he is.
I'd still pick Minotauro in this one, but I'm intrigued.

I don't think you can really call it "feeding" if the guy's top 10. Sounds more like a test. And I think Nog should be tested at this point.

I don't know why people are b1tching, wouldn't you want to fight the fighter who is a better match-up for you? It's a smart career decision IMO. Mir has little chance if he has to fight Big Nog. Kongo is the way to go! =D

Mir actually looked like the "frank mir of old" in his last fight. Kongo is a fish out of water once Mir gets him to the mat. No way he can control his transitions. Give Nog Arlovski or something.

Nog vs Mir would not be as one sided as people think until Mir gases. Mir vs Kongo would be much more onesided than people think because Mir would win easily.
