^This (although minus the touches on excuses towards the end).
I wanted Manny just before the retirement fight there. Loved it. The entire film's crux was Manny being KOed brutally by JMM in the 4th fight. I knew this rivalry was deep, I know it was a huge loss for Pacquiao and it essentially wrote off the other 3 fights...but the film and story was still great.
I used to be a Pacquiao fan....not much anymore. First of all and the most important, not much bang for the buck anymore. When Roach 1st got him and Pac was fighting those 2 great Mexican fighters who were coming close to the end of their time.
Pac was like a Whirling Dervish - there was a character in the old Mike-Tyson Punchout game who would leave trails behind he moved so fast. That was old Pac - saying after fights, I'll fight anybody.
I only watched the Aldo trailer & it didn't look to me like a documentary either, I think somebody did that & I didn't think the trailer much either.
So Pac Man fights the way over-rated Ricky Hatton. He beats the comically slow De La Hoya & Magarito who had the POP in his gloves when he fights Cotto & is only suspended for a year. Boxing, still crooked as hell. C the documentary (Assault in the Ring). This is a must see for boxing fans.
I'm a computer novice & I see on google that it's showing the whole movie on YouTube. But when I get there it isn't the one I clicked on....but it is the movie....but it costs $3 to see it. When you click on the whole movie choice after googling it....it switches to the trailer when it gets to Utube.
Manny was playing pool for $30,000 a game, having a few drinks when not in training, & screwing a few who wanted him. So his boxing is going great & somebody tells him to turn himself over to Christ. Manny has gone downhill since then.
I can't believe with The Crusades, The Inquisition, Catholic Priests (or, school for pedophiles), Catholics with multi-billions in real estate and the City of Gold & Fine Gems, the Vatican, it's own country.
As Bill Maher would say - the bible is a book of old Jewish Fables. The last two are recent, Joseph Smith in the woods some day in 1850 - give or take a couple decades. I think it was Jesus, but somebody came floating out of the sky and tells him what to do, including having lots of wives who are young teenagers mostly.
Watch the movie Religulous. It is funny, true, & scary. So Manny fights Bradley & loses - terrible scoring. Manny spending more time with that funny book of fairy tales. I think he got in trouble with his fans lately for saying LGBT's are animals. I think gay people were to be burned or stones thrown at them till dead, something like that.
So the hyped up fight of the century. Floyd & Manny. I knew what was gonna happen, but shelled out the C-note anyway. Fight goes off just as any decent fight of the Century.....a SNOOZEFEST. After that fight - I realized I was no more a Pacquiao fan.
The reason - as the fight went on....Pacquiao had to know he needed to let loose & be the whirling dervish.....swing for the fences....hurt Floyd. Try uppercuts - stuff Floyd wont expect.....GO DOWN SWINGING! Nope, just boxed it out like sparring.
