Awkward fight stylistically for Romero, he might be barking up the wrong tree, and he certainty should want this fight over 5, not 3.
Nah Romero will go through Bisping like a train. Actually I think he goes through anyone in the division like a train. Pity they gave Weidman the rematch would have loved to see him fight him or Rockhold

Dont know how you can think that spite. You saw what he did to machida and then jacare in the first round. And in my eyes both of those guys were pumped full of juice and can take more of a beating then bisping. For one round i believe Romero is the best fighter in the UFC skills wise. Wrestling, boxing, agility nobody can touch him. Only when his juice runs low is he susceptable. Dont see how bisping gets out of round 1

Ever since i first saw him fight im the UFC i thought he would never get beat. And the more he trains with his bro the world champ boxer the more unbeatable he gets. His boxing is way off the charts now, and we know his wrestling is elite. Only the gas....

The thing is, Bisping being KO'd get said in almost all of his fights. But the only person to ever KO him is Hendo, Belfort got the TKO is a massive head shot that also busted his eye. Look at the big hitters he's fought in the past - Wand, Stan, Riveria, Anderson, Lebon, Evans.

Romero may be the best first round fighter in the UFC but I think Bisping can avoid his shots for the first round. He has a big win against Machida, but lets be honest - Machida is shadow of his former self. He almost got beat by Tim Kennedy, only cheating between rounds saved him.

I suspect this guy has been taking shit his whole career. Now at 39 years old he has to stop, what kind of effect is that going to have on him?

I don't think Bisping should take this fight, because I think he deserves more - a title shot or a big fight against Diaz (who IMO is much more dangerous fighter for Bisping).

I haven't been one of those people who say bisping will get ko'd all the time. I did say Vitor would KO him and Hendo mind you lol. But if you remember I said he'd beat Anderson, picked him over Leites and most of his other wins. Romero however is a totally different animal. He beats Bisping anywhere in the octagon, and while Bisping has great movement, Romero can close the distance like a panther, and toss guys around. He doesn't need a takedown he just needs to get his hands on any part of the body and your hitting the floor. If Bisping engages at close range with punches he'll get cracked and dropped. If he somehow manages to get through the first round and a half then of course he can win, but good luck with that....

I dont think Bisping will take that fight even if offered. Not that he should. But I think he really wants no part of Romero. He was brutalized by cautious old Anderson. Unless Romero was %100 juice I dont see how Romero wouldnt leave him a mess on the floor.

I dont even like Bisping but that would be hard to watch really.

I dont mind if Bisping gets a title shot really. Sort of a filler title fight to allow the division to move a bit....and still a named fight that would draw interest. Win win for UFC really. And what the hell, ive ragged on Bisping his whole career.....buy give him his moment.

I agree. Bisping in no way should take this fight. Really don't think it was right Weidman getting the rematch so soon its messed up things. It should be Rockhold vs Romero or Rockhold vs Bisping and Weidman fighting whoever is left.

I think Rockhold is just much bigger than most imagined and it made Weidman look smaller. You could be right he came in a little smaller.....but Rockhold is a big ass mw. Made it look more dramatic.

That said Weidman took him down like 3 or 4 times. Rockhold just had much better scrambled and bjj than Machida or Vitor at this point. His ground game is elite.

What is this nonsense about Bisping running away? He didn't run away from Anderson why is everyone saying he would run away from Nick?

The Romero fight is an interesting one if it gets booked. I think Yoel probably wins but I don't see Bisping getting steamrollered. He never has been steamrollered before - Even when he's been finished he's be competitive, Rockhold was probably the closest to doing it and that guy is head and shoulders above most of the division.

I would take Romero, Brunson, Mousasi, Whitaker and maybe Uriah Hall over Michael Bisping.

Taking on Romero a year after his suspension is likely a good idea for Bisping especially if he gets another home fight in England, because he loses to Leites and Silva in Brazil or the US.

The UFC is likely thinking

Weidman vs Bisping in MSG makes the most sense if Weidman wins.

Rockhold vs Belfort/Souza II in Brazil makes the most sense if Rockhold wins. So if that happens they pretty much have to book Romero/Bisping.
