I am very excited to have Nakamura in the UFC and this is a very tough first match for him. Nakamura is a Olympic silver medalist in Judo and has increased his Boxing skills while Machida the Karate blackbelt is an expert Karate counter puncher which I have seen many good Karate fighters to be this way. Machida has good ground defense and Nakamura from his Judo background will have some good submission knowledge mainly Armbar’s and Kimura’s.

Most fighters from the Yoshida Dojo are very good decision fighters as they use their Judo to control their opponent which I think Nakamura will do. If Nakamura is cautious about Machida’s counter punching skills and doesn’t go swinging for the fences and gets caught I think Nakamura will grind this to a decision win. It is a tough call as it could go either way.

Kazuhiro Nakamura via Unanimous Decision.(could go either way for this fight)

Who cut his hair? He must've put a bowl on his own head and looked in the mirror and cut below.

Wow. What a boring POS fight. Why was this on the card again? Nakamura looked like the proverbial tomato can that got pulled out so Machida could get a UFC fight under his belt.

I hate Machida. He should have finished that fight. He's a boring fighter and couldn't make an exciting fight vs a high school student.
