Nice test for both fighters. Nak needs a win to prove that hes still top 10 worthy and Machida needs to beat a top 10 fighter to prove that hes the real deal. Luckily Nak wont have to worry about any gi's getting him smashed while he tries to rip it off.

Nakamura has improved striking, but I don't think he'll be able to stand with Machida. His best bet is to take things to the ground. I think Machida will win based on striking. If Nak takes things to the ground, then Machida will just neutralize it. Nak's a solid fighter, no doubt, but I'm picking Machida.

Machida has great striking, good wrestling, is hard to hit, has a good ground game, and has a good chin. The guy's tricky.

Nakamura has improved striking, good clinch game, is good on the ground, and has heart.

Basically, Nak is a judoka trying to be a boxer. He has a tendency to get wild with his strikes.

Machida's a great striker who wins based on technique.

I've gotta go with Machida as well, even if I do love Nakamura. =) Nak is just so darn cool, but Machida is good in every aspect of the game. I'm hoping Nak comes in and scores some crazy takedowns and works his magic on the ground, but I have a feeling he's going to come out all "drunken boxer" on Machida and get beat on points.

I love Nakamura too, but I have to give this one to Machida. I hope I'm wrong though.

Look out for Machida. The dude is so deadly with his strikes man. Such a great counter puncher. I hope Nak doesn't snap out leg kicks cause Machida will surely throw that straight left when he does and put him on the mat.

Nakamura FTW!!!

Nak is confident, and has beaten much better competition IMO than Lyoto has. Not saying Lyoto sucks, no way am I saying that. This is gonna be a close fight. Lyoto is due for a loss, and he hasn't faught top competition in a very long time. I don't know how it's gonna happen, but Nak is gonna win this one!!

Nakamura has been in there with the best at 205. I see Lyoto winning a split though, Nak's striking is still sloppy and Lyoto will counter off that very well. Either way though, Nakamura vs Machida in the ufc!

I keep going back and forth, but I think Machida can keep Nakamura out of the clinch, if he can he wins by decision. Kaz can take a shot though and slug his way inside.
