i've said previously to this specific post, that i am bringing into the conversation, all of Silva's fights, his vale tudo fights as well... again, the heat against silva seems to come from people who think he's only ever fought once against leben and got lucky...

he deserves a title shot because he's been in the fight world for a long time and has the potential to be one of the most exciting champs the UFC has ever had!!!
its not what you've done, it's what have you done lately...ask anyone that's how it works...what has he done? lost his last Pride match, win 2, then lose in Hawaii by DQ, win in the UK, then he comes to the UFC demolishes Leben...yeah that sounds like a Contender in the UFC, 1 win=Title Shot ... God himself could have that record and I'd deny him a shot, I'd say a few more wins, atleast one, and I'm Catholic...

He has fought Leben only once and I didn't say he got lucky BUT, YES, Silva has beaten Horn and Newton, but that was years ago...

Lindlands comments were interesting after he disposed of Jeremy. He is up to fight ace thats 4 sure, he just needs the opportunity and timing to get it done. If it does happen it will be at least 9-12 months away yet....by then someone else will be champ.....who knows what Dana White and his henchmen are thinking somedays.

Lindland V Franklin - that b awesome - thats a serious contender at 185.
