3 fighters you REALLY want to see in the UFC.
Topic says it all. But lets try to exclude Fedor...
1.) Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou- Light Heavyweight(4-1)
This dude is HUGE for 205. From what weve seen as of late, HUGE KO power (KO'ing 2 top 10 LHW's in under 2 minutes).
Is he the next big thing? I'm not sure, Thierry would make ANY fight in the UFC interesting, though. Somthing tells me that Dana is gonna let him go to another Org, to truley see if he lives up to the hype. If he does, then he will probably bring him in. I personally can't wait for that time to come.
2.) Robbie Lawler- Middleweight (15-4)
I know, he has already been in the UFC. But i think he has improved, A LOT. It would be extremely interesting to see him against guys like Franklin, Okami, or even Silva. Theres not a whole lot else i can say about him, i just think he has improved a whole lot, and it would be really interesting to see him make a return.
3.) Roger Hollett - Light Heavyweight (7-0)
I know a lot of people probably have NO clue who this guy is. But let me tell you, he is a BEAST. Another huge dude at 205, and he also has big KO power. He is 7-0 with stoppages ALL in the first round. Notable wins recently was the destruction of 6'6 Ricardeau Francois, and his most recent domination of Victor Valimaki (Ex. UFC fighter). I truley think he could be the real deal. This dude deserves a shot at the UFC, put him against someone like Houston Alexander, and we could have fireworks.
Who would you like to see in the UFC?

I agree, hes too talented for the WEC, imo. I think hes having a blast there, though. So all the power to him.
But in all honesty, if were talking WEC, id MUCH rather see Razor Rob in the UFC.

Shinya Aoki
Come on, who doesn't love Shinya Aoki? The guy has beaten really good fighters in 2 different weight classes! Aoki is an exciting fighter with an excellent guard, great submissions, and cool pants. Well, he'd have to ditch the pants, but he could rock banana shorts. Aoki vs Karo, Aoki vs Hughes, Aoki vs Penn, Aoki vs Tavares......man, they should get this guy NOW!
Frank Shamrock
I am a Frank Shamrock fanboy, and the MW needs contenders. I still think Frank has what it takes to be a force in the MW division. Call it delusion, call it nuthuggery, call it whatever. Frank Shamrock is still in good shape, he's incredibly flexible, he has a great chin, his stand-up is really, really good, he picks up things at an incredible pace, he has a really good ground game, he's charismatic, and he's exciting. I mean, yeah, he'll never come to the UFC, but a man can freakin' dream, can't he?
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
I want my lil Nog back! But, thankfully, he's returning to Mixed Martial Arts. He'd be a great addition to the LHW division, and man, we need both the Nogueira brothers in the UFC. Rogerio has really good stand-up, a great ground game, and tremendous heart. He, like his brother, will never quit. Sure, Sokky brutally KO'ed him, but he's still a great fighter. I mean, lil Nog vs Machida, Shogun vs lil Nog 2, Rampage vs lil Nog, man...all of those fights would rule.

Good post, Damone. I definitley agree with you on Frank Shamrock, too. I think he could still pose a real threat. He'll probably never cross over, though...

1)
Norifumi Yamamoto
If Kid ever came to the UFC to fight @ 155 I seriously think I would cry from happiness. BJ Penn vs. Kid Yamamoto....c'mon seriously how the hell can anyone NOT want to see that fight?! BJ is a lil bigger but it doesn't matter cuz Kid has the physical strength of a big lightweight and height isn't really a big difference maker for Kid. This fight would rule so hard. You guys don't even understand. Other than that matchup, you still got countless more. Kid matches up well with everyone. Kid vs Sherk would rule as well.
2) Sokoudjou (already described well)
3) Shinya Aoki (already described well)
