Anderson Silva Vs Michael Bisping Fight Breakdown Part 1: Bisping Pushing Forward
Something really important taking into account, is the fact that Bisping was the one initiating the attacks in this fight. The judges do not only take into account who inflicted most of the damage. The will of a fighter to take the win, is also taken into account. The one initiating most of the attacks, is the one that wants to take the win mostly, so this is a plus when it comes to the judge’s decision!

Anderson Silva Vs Michael Bisping Fight Breakdown Part 2: The One Bleeding is Not The One Who Lost
Why do people use to judge about who is the winner of a fight taking into account if he managed to make his opponent bleed? This is annoying and it has to change! Let me provide you with a really simple and strong argument here: When people are getting into a fight, or when we watch professionals fight, the damage seen by the human eye does not correspond to the real damage inflicted! In more simple words, one of the two fighters may be bleeding and seem destroyed in the human eye, but the “intact” fighter may have the more serious-inner (brain) damage! That said, we should never judge by the looks and the points should be counted as points!

Anderson Silva Vs Michael Bisping Fight Breakdown Part 3: Michael Bisping Also Knocked Down Anderson Silva
Why do people remember the huge flying knee by Anderson Silva, that knocked Michael Bisping down? The fight with rules is a fight with rules, and since Bisping was saved by the bell in the end of the third round, then the fight goes on to the other rounds. If it was boxing the fight might have ended there, but it is not! Plus, let me give you a quick reminder. Michael Bisping also managed to knock Anderson Silva down in the end of the second round. Anderson Silva Vs Michael Bisping Fight Breakdown Part 4: Counting The Points

Well, leaving the feelings aside, and looking at the fight objectively there is only one conclusion: When a fight comes to the Judges decision, then the one who wins is the one who scored more points and who wanted the win mostly. And the one who scored more points Winning the three out of five rounds, was Michael Bisping.

I've seen the fight, thought bisping won
but reading this "argument", just by the way it's put together makes me want to disagree.
it's not very convincing, actually, there are good points to be made, but they're made poorly here.

You have to understand, you can not convince anyone, and everyone is entitled to his opinion. People will see the fights as they please, all through their own cultural and personal biases. Just let people have their opinion, however wrong you think they are. We all see things through different perspective. One could make the argument Silva won, I would disagree, myself, but since it's gone to a decision, we all know these can easily go either way regardless of what we saw.

Outside of Anderson's chin, I don't think there's much different physically. He's just in a bizarre place mentally.

In the Nick Diaz fight, Anderson for the first time since he debuted in the UFC wanted to "win". That's it. He didn't want to show off and hit a highlight reel. He wanted to win the fight. He wanted to use the clinch which he hadn't used in years and got tagged when he tried it (he also wanted this in the second Weidman fight but we didn't see the fight enough to see him go back to his roots). He didn't want to get suckered into giving Diaz an inch, as Silva himself is a master of what Diaz was trying to do. I got what Anderson wanted to do there.

Vs Bisping, who knows. His chin was exposed, but he still looked fast and sharp when he was doing what he wanted. That flying knee was killer and really, he just had to bring it to Bisping in the next round cause he was out. He hurt Bisping again and I remember hhim letting Bisping walk away to the other side of the cage while Anderson strolled after him. It was like he didn't want to do anything other than land an incredible KO.

The main reasons Anderson Silva lost and Michael Bisping won.

1. Location

Michael Bisping has never lost in England, he is always given the benefit of the doubt. Matt Hamill, Chris Leben, Thales Leites and Anderson Silva all lost close fights that might have been judged differently had they not been in the fighters home town. If the Lietes and Silva fights happened in Brazil the close decisions might have gone the other way, same with Chris Leben. And the Matt Hamill fight is one of the worst decisions in MMA history.

2. Drugs

Anderson Silva is coming off a specific drug that creates strong lean muscle, it isn't coincidental that the same strikes that would have finished tougher fighters didn't take out the weak chinned Bisping. What we can and should conclude is that Silva's drug regiment greatly helped him run as a champion and should cast a pallor over his run.

3. Age

Anderson Silva is 40 years old, Michael Bisping yet again was able to draw a significantly older opponent in the same vein as Jorge Rivera, Dan Henderson, Cung Le, and Wanderlei Silva one has to wonder how good Bisping would look if he wasn't facing old fighters.

1. London had nothing to do with it 90% of fans and almost every journalist scored the fight 3-2 Bisping.

2. No idea about the drugs. Still laugh at the weak chinned Bisping remarks that pop-up all the time though.

3. Bisping isn't exactly young. And lets not forget Silva can still go 5 rounds, he went 5 rounds with N.Diaz who is much younger and won.

Bisping won the fight on points imo. Silva clearly won the ass-kicking contest. Bisping did just enough to win on the scorecards. Silva did just enough to create controversy. Silva landed the better shots of the fight including the devastating knee which could have been a KO 50% of the time, just depends on how the ref see's it. Silva also has himself to blame for not finishing Bisping in the 5th when he had him hurt.

That was thunderous knee that would have put anyone down in division, Bispings face exploded when it landed - but it didn't knock him out. Also remember, Bisping scored two Knock Downs himself during the fight.

Agree that Silva lacked killer instinct after the front kick, but Silva did nothing that he doesn't do in other fights - he always looks for the highlight reel KO.

Going forward I think we'll see an Anderson Silva with more urgency like we saw with Rich Franklin, rather than what we have seen with Griffin/Bonnar.

So I just watched Anderson vs Bisping for the first time. Was entertaining for sure.

I thought Anderson looked pretty stupid early on. Not for his antics as that is what he does, but for the wild strikes that didn't land. Bisping out foot worked him easily and was landing many more shots while Anderson was swinging and missing. First 2 rounds 10-9s for Bisping no doubt.

3rd round Anderson won that one. But not that great. It took Bisping looking at the ref to land that knee. Bisping pretty dumb for looking at the ref. The ref can't just stop the fight when you are getting backed up and hit. Not sure why Bisping was doing that. 10-9 Silva.

4th was obviously the hard one to score. Bisping landed more for sure. Anderson a few but they snapped Bisping's head back more.

5th was Anderson.

I could see it scored either way depending on that 4th round. Not super clear either way.

If that Bisping which I think a good version of Bisping comes to the Rockhold fight....he has no chance. His gas tank is so praised yet I didn't see anything real special. I mean he kept going but if he had such a better gas tank he would have had a better TD attempt towards the end there.

Anderson looks less precise with lesser reaction time. Still looked OK I guess.

Bisping gets destroyed by Rockhold who is in his prime. I don't see how anyone sees any reason he can win other than the stars just lining up comepletly.

I've noticed over his last 3 or 4 fights that his cardio is starting to fail, it's still good and he can still go for 5. But his game has always been on outpacing his opponent, but it's not getting any easier for him. It's normal I guess, the guy is at the wrong end of his 30's.

It really wasnt massive. It was one guy on decline off roids and a gatekeeper. Was a very good fight for fight pass but wasnt some title fight.

I just didnt have fight pass nor set the time aside to watch a fight pass card on a crappy stream. I just never got around to watching the fight. Not huge into getting real excited about watching fights I already know what happened. Until I get interest maybe into how it may apply to an upcoming fight. There is so much live MMA today that I really have no interest in watching reruns of fights I know the outcome for.

I know all the stream sites and have used them. Usually for boxing events really if I am home and interested in the main event. I wasnt familiar with sites that replayed fights even though if I was interested enough Im sure I could have found it. I got interestes when Bisping has his next fight coming up so I wanted to see exactly how he fought even though I pretty much knew what happened in the fight.

Yeah for sure on the reruns, if I'm not around or can't be bothered staying up, I avoid the sites for dear life so I can watch it from blank. I haven't watched loads of apparently great Bellator fights because I googled the results first.

Yeah I absolutely HATE streaming sites. So glad the BT deal got done in the UK because I'd hate to go back to streaming sites, so inconsistent. But yeah use http://mmaversus.com/ if you want to catch something the next day.

Aye I'm the same. Plus if you're into more than just a couple of fighters, they've got an insane amount of live MMA content from other promotions and now that I've figured out a ridiculously complex system of downloading from Fight Pass players, I'll be able to get a lot of fights or events I can't find elsewhere.

I'd get it right now but I'm moving country and stuff probably in a week or two so even though it's heavy cheap, don't want to add too much shite onto the end.
