Felder has some of the lowest fight IQ I've seen. When ever he is winning the standup he'll try grappling and whenever he is doing well in the grappling he stands up.
Been huge on Larkin for a while now and actually edged the Tumenov fight to him (although was hammered at the time) but to show this level of striking against one of the most naturally technical strikers out there...Larkin is a beast.
Okay fight here. Story throws hard but a lot of people seem to be able to take them. I'm not a big fan of any cage grind though so there's long boring periods.
Dear god is Saffiedine fighting dumb. He's losing every clinch exchange and yet he keeps running into the clinch and hanging out there while getting tooled.
Tough fight to score. Probably 30-27 Story based on control but Tarrec pretty much nulified his grappling, he seemed a little reluctant to let his strikes to though
For some reason, I felt a little sorry for Barao when Stephens pushed him... Hopefully he can perform here, he has a lot of question marks hanging over him after the two TJ fights, but hopefully he is still good enough to take care of Stephens?
Barao looked like his old self, i don't think his old self looks great trading with the hardest hitting 145lber out there. Size difference was more than i expected.
Great fight with Barao and Stephens. Stephens edged it for me right at the end.
Was Barao's chin always weak? He sees to struggle to deal with them and I don't remember too many of his fights before TJ. Was it a case that he just didnt get hit much?
This fight made you think it's weak??? He took some huge shots... from a massive puncher, maybe the best puncher at 145lb. His chin held up incredibly well.
Wish that had went the full 5 but fantastic while it landed. I had a feeling Garbrandt might be the better striker but not to that degree. Fantastic hands. Garbrandt Vs TJ....BOOK IT!
