That referee is fking scum man. This dude is out there, head to toe in blood, no energy, getting smacked hard in the face and he's standing there throwing back and not for a second giving up. The amount of energy and toughness De La Rocha put into that fight only for the referee to stop it while he's still on his feet and still throwing back. Hate that shit. Poor guy just gave us every drop of his sweat and blood to stay in that fight and despite still fighting, the referee basically took all of it away from him and now his toughness and the punishment he took means nothing.

Yeah but then you bring in the doctor to have a look.

Aljo is dominating this fight but I also feel like he's getting a little bit exposed. Caraway is tough but Aljo is struggling to find his range in the striking and isn't doing an amazing job in getting the takedown. People acted like Aljo was underrated despite being #5 with no really impressive wins and I think this fight shows what would happen if you put him in there with anyone like Faber/TJ/Cruz etc.

I also am sensing the possibility of Caraway winning here. Half way through the second and he's down so far but Aljo is pretty tired and Caraway might steal the round and take the last. Imo Aljo is costing himself with way too many kicks.

Great top control from Bryan. I didn't think he'd take the top position off that TD but he managed to get it and transition very well. Caraway's round with the ground control for sure. No way is round 1 a 10-8 imo so this is all down to the last...and Aljo is very tired.

*Cue HATRED for Caraway cause he grabbed the cage lmao*

Lovely transition to get them standing to secure the TD for Caraway. Lovely reverse triangle attempt for Aljo. I think he's kind of quit a bit at this stage. Tired, complaining to the referee about a couple of things. This is a little bit like what happened with Matt when he was tired and got eye poked.

If Round 1 was a 10-8 ( I agree with you and don't believe it was) then we are going to have a very interesting score card

Caraway has control here now.

Ha...How does 1 judge give it 29-28 Sterling! Still right man won

Can't say I am overly impressed with either man to be honest. Caraway can go on about his "talent" all he wants. You are on the undercard prelims after 30 fights for a reason Bryan!

To be fair, the prelims have changed. Main event of Fight Pass and main event of prelims have become a big deal. Aljo was ranked #5 in the division and I think Bryan was somewhere in the top 10.

Caraway isn't a fighter who looks impressive...but if he can keep winning like he is he doesn't have to. I reckon he gets a big fight next. I'd like to see Almeida or Garbrandt fight for the title after Faber so maybe TJ Vs Caraway or something.

Caraway won?

Mind is blown.

He got Sterling down with the same move in rounds 2 and 3, the leg trip on the left side.

I think if not for that, there's no way Caraway wins that fight.

Good job by Caraway either way.
