Why would Bisping "in no shape or form" accept a fight against Jacare?
The timing is pretty damning
Spring 2013 - he picks Belcher over Jacare, Jacate ends up with Costas Phillipou who pulls out and he gets Chris Cammozzi
Spring 2014 - he picks Tim Kennedy over Jacare, Jacare ends up with Francis Carmont.
Fall 2014 - we end up with Rockhold/Bisping and Jacare/Mousasi when logically the title eliminator is Rockhold/Jacare. Bisping jumps in line and loses horribly.
Spring 2015 - he picks CB Dolloway and Jacare ends up with Chris Cammozzi again, this time Bisping is on the very next card positioned to be the injury replacement if Machida, Romero, Jacare, or Rockhold get injured.
Spring 2016 - he gets his fight with Anderson Silva on fightpass and Jacare has to face Vitor Belfort when clearly the fights that make sense is Silva/Belfort II and Jacare/Bisping as the title eliminator with both men coming off split decisions.
He'll take a title eliminator against anyone but he always seems to avoid the top level grapplers and strikers (Romero, Okami, Kampmann, Palhares, Mousasi, Jacare, Weidmann, Lombard, Boetsch, Phillippou, Brunson)
Bispings' opponents always fit into one three categories.
1. Title Eliminators - Evans, Sonnen, Rockhold, Belfort
2. Aged Vets - Wanderlei, Cung Le, Henderson, Rivera, Silva
3. Lower level grapplers and strikers - Dollaway, Leben, Hamill, Leites, Kennedy, Stann, Belcher, Miller, Miller, Akiyama
Now is it him that's doing this or the UFC protecting it's investment. But the UFC has always had two middleweight divisions one for the Silva's, Bispings, Lebens and the other for the Sonnens, Okami's, Maias, Munozs etc.
