If anything this result should be the reason why he should fight Liddell next. Entitled "battle of the losers" we can see who still has a career. He was quoted as proclaiming "who am I going to fight now?" IMO he didn't deserve a high profile fight coming into the UFC anyway after getting demolished in his last two performances. The only reason that fight was going to happen is because people wanted it for so long. Now that a new crop of fighters are emerging this match-up will still be good but will no longer prove who is the best at that weight class.

You know what I was actually thinking the same thing that it would be interesting with them both coming off of 2 losses but I don't think it is going to happen that way.

Wandy vs. Chuck is still the most logical fight for both of them IMO. Regardless of the fact that both are coming off 2 losses it would still be a huge fight. It wasn't long ago that both these guys pretty much dominated their respective divisions. People have wanted to see this fight for a long time and it would still be a huge PPV draw.

Seems like a good idea, the fight could give Liddel a much needed boost and its the fight mma fans have wanted to see for a very long time, sadly i cant see dana puttin wandy in with liddel that soon, if he loses dana has another pride 'super' fighter that he has hyped to hell but in the end disappoints. Gona be an interesting few months.

I think that's a little unfair. His first loss was against a heavy weight who knocked him out in devastating fashion.

The second fight he looked drunk. One loss doesn't mean much.

Also I don't even want to see this fight anymore. It's not interesting to me right now. I think it would be a huge failure. Let them get on winning ways before they fight again so they have confidence... If one or both of them doesn't get back to winning, then the fight just won't happen.

I wouldn't like to see this fight...yet. Like previously said, both these guys need to get back on the right track (ie. winning) for a confidence boost. Just putting them together because of the history issue seems a little foolish. The marketing of the UFC needs to hype this fight with both fighters having a win under thier belt.
