Keith Jardine has emerged as the biggest winner last night. He now holds victories over Chuck Lidell and Forest Griffen (the guy who beat Shogun). Impressive when you consider he really isn't ever talked about as contender in the LHW division. Discuss.

Houston was a relative nobody who clearly wasn't that rocked seeing as though he got up fairly quickly and went on to demolish Jardine not long after.

I still don't think Jardine should fight for the title.

Dana should go WWE style and have a triple threat match. Alexander vs Jardine vs Forrest. That'd be genius.

You are just being funny right?
Humor, right on?
cause the last thing the UFC needs is to even remotely associate itself with trash like WWE.

Good one Douche! Houston Alexander has beaten Keith Jardine and a bunch of cans. One good win in 10 fights. Don't get on his badwagon yet.
So your point is that Jardine lost to a bad fighter and not a good one? And still, in the first post you called him impressive. I don't get it.

Personally I think he did good against Liddell, he has got good leg and body kicks.

Rampage only gets beat by Brazilians. On a serious note, Rampage was only knocked out once that was after eating a mean right and then something like 7 knees. Anyone who thinks Rampage is going out from a single punch is crazy.

He beat a guy coming of a KO loss in a championship fight after himself losing by KO to a nobody in less than a minute. Yea right...

what are you whining about? The only reason Rampage got his title shot is because he beat Lidell in Pride and Dana wanted $$$ for rematch. What did he do to deserve his title shot? getting owned in Pride and then beat an aging nobody in his 1 UFC fight? Granted to seems like a solid champ right now, but judging people on their past and not their abilities and potential is how all the fanboys predicted Rua would "whip" Forrest and Chuck would kill Keith.

I bet Dana regrets setting the Liddell vs Jackson fight up so soon.

In hindsight probably, but it seemed like the next logical step. Chuck was up for a title defense and Rampage was the only guy that seemed worthy. Chuck had just demolished Tito 6 months before so there really was no one else. I think Dana honestly thought his boy was unstoppable which obviously was not the case. His arrogance bit him in the A$$.

hah hah, no one is whining here. What did he do?

Can you name another contender back in May? No everyone was pumped on the rematch. Tito was beaten and everyone else wasn't in the same place as they were today.

Can you name anyone else the fans wanted to see fight? No, everytime Rampage did an interview he was asked when he'll fight Chuck. That rematch was on everybodys mind when Rampage signed.

Can you name anyone else Chuck wanted to fight? No, Chuck wanted revenge. That's all Chuck mentioned when asked.

Having a record of 11-4 in Pride w/ losses coming from Shogun, Wanderlei and Sakuraba is getting owned? Are you on crack? Those guys were top of the food chain in Pride. Wanderlei was taking on HWs, Shogun won the MW grand prix, and Sakuraba nearly took out the entire Gracie family.

And what the F*ck does this all have to do with Keith Jardine?
