watch what happens with mmaweekly's rankings, and how much of a screwed up system their rankings are.
ill bet anything with anyone on here that forrest wont be ranked #1, the reason i say this is a screwed up system is because when serra beat gsp he shot from nowhere straight to #1 and has remained there ever since.

Top 5 fav. fighters (in order)

1. GSP
2. Franklin
3. Lesnar
4. Forrest
5. Big Nog

I think Forrest should be in the top 10, but also I don't think any Pride guys should be ranked in the top 10 until they prove themselves in the octagon. It is the biggest stage in the world and the Pride guys have not been doing so well.

I think Forrest should be ahead of Shogun in rankings, but who knows with the ranking system. Like with Cro Cop being higher than Gonzaga after his loss to him. Thats what im afraid of with Forrest.

i usually dont do these, but im gonna give my top 5

1. Rampage
2. Hendo
3. Wandy
4. Forrest
5. Liddell

I dont think anyone can argue Rampage.... Hendo has been impressive and went the distance with Rampage, Wandy has had a down time, but you cannot deny his accomplishments. Forrest... well really aside from the one elbow that cut him, he controlled the pace even from guard for almost the entire fight, that was sooooo impressive, and he was beating the hell outta Jardine till that punch landed flush(not taking anything away from Jardine, i never call a punch lucky, he threw it, it landed). Liddell again hard time but cant deny the accomplishments.

behind them id put Shogun, Jardine and Machida.

i know people with disagree with me, but thats what makes these boards so fun, if everyone agree'd what would we talk about?

Edit: forgot my Forrest love...

I became a Forrest fan on the first episode of TUF, when the guys were talking about the contract and what they would do with the money, and Forrest said " I'll get my arm fixed" and told the story of breaking it in an armbar(I think) but didnt wanna tap and ended up knocking the other guy out with his good arm.... hehe i knew right then and there he was my fav and wanted him to win. and been a fan of him since.

Either you didn't see the fight, or you have never seen a dominating performance. Either way, Forrest did not dominate Shogun, he won fair and square and was very impressive but he did not dominate.

ive seen dominating performances, and That was a dominating performance.... when Shogun was on top, he didnt do much other then a few strikes, most notably 1 (i repeat ONE) elbow that cut Forrest.... when Forrest is on the bottom hes throwing elbows and moving his hips for submissions. and in the stand up Forrest was controlling....

Shogun was outclassed in every aspect!

DOMINATING WIN for Forrest!
