Tito vs. Wandy
I guess it all depends on the date of Ortiz/Evans II, but does anyone else suspect that UFC could market this fight just as well as Wandy vs. Liddell? Silva can make just as big a statement by creaming Ortiz, and vice versa. Build up the history between these two, talk about how both have evolved as fighters, and you've got yourself a PPV worthy bout that I think people would buy.
Again, I'm not certain as to when Tito and Rashad are fighting, date wise. So this possibility may, in fact, be a complete impossibility. The point is, UFC needn't be worried... Chuck vs. Wandy would have sold, but there are countless possibilities here, all of which are just as marketable. If anything, it's great having a division where nothing is set in stone. If the same old person was winning over and over, people would be griping about how boring MMA had become. White just needs to learn that you can never make long term plans in MMA. If you have plans, reveal them after your fighter has won, and not before.
