He's on a 1 fight win streak, and has a loss against Houston after the Jardine fight.

Forrest defeated Hector and just defeated the #1 LHW in the world. Lyoto has the great credentials and is 3-0 in the UFC. Jardine doesn't cut it with those 2.

Have Jardine fight Wandy, that's what I say.

Forrest before his win over Shogun and Chuck at the lowest point of his career.

Keep in mind, at the time Forrest was just an average joe UFC fighter. Jardine himself is coming off a KO loss to a nobody in under a minute and he beat a man coming off a KO championship loss in under 3 minutes.

Sorry, don't believe that makes him #1.

Jardine isn't near #1 contender, even after beating Chuck in a close split decision.

Forrest or Machida right now. Hell, have them fight for the title shot. Don't forget about Wandy. The dude hasn't battled it out in the cage yet. His name shouldn't be dismissed yet either. If Alexander can get another huge KO as usual, then he should be thrown in too. But he probably won't be fighting for awhile.

So yeah, right now, Forrest or Machida.

why should Wandy be considered for a title shot when he's coming off back to back KO losses?

Griffin/Jardine does seem reasonable but remember both are coming off recent losses. I'd have Machida/Jardine and Forrest/Alexander, then the winners of those 2 fights, fight against eachother for no.1 contendership.
