Arrow I say Jardine vs Griffen 2 - For Title Shot!

Who else thinks this would be a good move? Let these two go at it and whoever wins gets Rampage for the title.

This seems like the best move for UFC to make.

What do you guys think?

Jardine beat the former LHW who is coming off a KO loss. Jardine himself is coming off a KO loss. He isn't top contender. I'd rather see Wanderlei or Houston Alexander.

grapplegod has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Griffin/Jardine II and Alexander/Silva winners get #1 contendership.

UFC 79

Jardine vs Griffen 2 - Winner gets title shot

Houstin Alexander vs Lyoto Machida

Lyoto is undefeated, and GOOD at staying that way. Houstin is a monster. This would be a GREAT fight!

makes sense. i'd like to see forrest v. Silve and alexander v. jardine...
but being that alexander fought jardine before the jardine/ lidell fight i suppose that wont happen.

looks like griffin/ jardine is the only matchup.

Lyoto would school Alexander. Seriously, there's no way I can see Houston winning that fight.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lyoto school Jardine, either. I mean, I like Keith Jardine, but Machida's a guy who I feel can be world champion. Also, I'm a huge Lyoto fanboy.

Forrest vs Rampage would be fun, and the pre-fight promo's would rule. Both are exciting and both are charismatic. Plus, Forrest choked out Shogun, so I think he should be next.
