400 Mg's of Test E per week will increase endurance and stamina. So will winstrol. Most of the fighters are testing positive for Deca. That helps lubricate the joints.

Not sure why CC is mentioned...

Personally, I feel his 3 fights were not "Steroid-ish".

1st - He looked agressive, dominating, and confident.
2nd - He looked confused, out of his game, and lacked oppurtunities. He never had the chance to do what he does best because GG took advantage of his weaknesses and new surroundings (ground/elbows/ect...)
3rd - You can say he got injured which effected his game. You could also argue he just had a bad fight against a similar fighter. No one is perfect and it takes time to adjust to a new type of fighting.

Shogun lost 1 fight. It's not like he has become some over-the-counter fighter since he came to the UFC. People often jump to conclusions far to easy when it comes to blaming why someone lost or won. It's MMA. Everybody loses. Without proof, and substantial proof, I don't believe any of the accusations. This steroid issue is a ridiculous arguement as to why certain people are losing now.

Why is Rampage winning?
Is that why Hendo lost?
Why isn't Fedor mentioned if this were true?
What about the Spider?

Nakamura was also soft, but that's not unusual for him. Also the Gomi vs. Diaz fight might have been in Pride, but it was on US soil, and thus under the jurisdiction of the NSAC. Some of the Pride guys do look smaller and softer and they have gassed. One of the things that steroids help the most is stamina. I don't want to say these guys were juicing, but it's a well known fact that they don't do much in the way of testing for it in Japan and the recent performances speak for themselves. Just something to ponder.
I agree. I'm not sure why people are so quick to dismiss the idea that Pride fighters were juicing. When Gomi came to the states he gassed like crazy, as has Shogun. I don't think all of the Pride fighters juiced, but I do think many did. How else can you explain the massive drop off in cardio and muscle mass? Also, look at Wanderlei in his early fights, and then later in Pride. Everything about the guy changed, from the shape of his head to his mass. Look where Barnett and Randleman went, both known to be juicers, when they left the UFC.

If using illegal substances is a major problem where it's illegal, how much more of a problem do you think it would be where it's not illegal? Heck, if you're fighting in an organization who doesn't care if you use steroids, why not?

I believe AAS is OTC in Japan as well so there's no papertrail. In other parts of the world steroids aren't as taboo compared to Canada and the US.

Has anyone mentioned an adrenaline dump?? That is FAR more likely. If he wasnt mentaly prepared for the crowd, the cameras, or just hasnt visualized it properly, there's a good chance it was just an adrenaline dump.

adrenaline dump due to crowds? highly unlikely. pride fighters fought for a bigger audience, so there's no way that would have anything to do with it. these guys are professionals.

I dunno, but its not as far fetched as it sounds. I mean until Shogun says he did not train to much, who know. Theres a million possible reasons. All we can hope is that he bounces back stronger.
