One Thing That Really Impressed Me...

Jon Fitch's calmness and composure when he was put in several DEEP submissions by Diego Sanchez, I was up on my feel yelling at my TV (thinking he could hear me for some reason) "DONT YOU DARE TAP" and sure enough he some how got out of 2 or 3 DEEP submissions, I was impressed!

The best one was when Diego Sanchez had Jon Fitch in the DEEP guillotine and Jon Fitch kept giving a thumbs up to the ref basically saying "Im Okay Man, This Is Fun!" lol

All the dudes he trains with say hes the most calm cat when he gets caught in subs and hes untappable. Of course thats not possible but with the people he trains with like Kos thats a pretty huge compliment.

Yeah, he did what any wrestling minded guy would do...just power out. He was really collected last night. I was really impressed with him. I didn't really know his submission defense was as good as it was. Still needs to get better at not getting caught in the situation at all, but still...

I was impressed with Fitch too, I do think he needs to work more on his sub defense to avoid those situations I recently watched one of his earlier fights and he was caught in an anaconda choke twice before powering out.

He seems to be a strong guy but when you're in there with fighters like Hughes and GSP you can't give them those kind of advantages.

For me that was the best fight of the night man, I was jumping around with all my buddies (who were all Sanchez Fans lol) and yelling at them and yelling at the TV.
