There is to much talent in the division to throw in a guy who is 2-0 into a title match. Personally, I think Houston should be thrown more fights before he gets a title shot.

If I went into the octagon tomorrow and beat Chuck that doesn't mean I'm the best, it just means I was the better fighter that day. I wouldn't be anywhere near the top of the ladder yet. Houston isn't ready for a title shot yet, but he has made an statement and two more wins could put him in line for the title shot. I honestly can't figure out how they decide who gets a shot and who doesn't. Forrest should be next since he has really only had one bad lose. The other was a close decision to Tito. He beat the #1 ranked LHW in the world and he is on a two fight win streak so go ahead and give him the title shot next. Jardine will need to win one more big fight in my opinion. He had a nice record until the Alexander fight. Machida needs to stop some opponents instead of getting the boring decision every fight if he wants a shot. Houston has beaten two very good fighters, but he needs to fight a couple more times to earn a title shot imo.

It's quite a weird situation here with all these PRIDE rated fighters coming over to the UFC. It makes it more difficult to put them in contention order. But, Houston needs at least another 2 fights before he's even in contention for a title shot. Take note of 'The Rock' Quarry for a similar situation.
