No Liddel/Silva? How about...

Hendo/Silva 3

I really think this would be a fight that would motivate both Silva and Hendo to their A-game and would put a rest to an epic trilogy.

Forrest has pretty much cemented a title shot in my eyes.
Jardine needs another more convincing against someone who just came off a win (either Machida, Alexander or Tito/Evans) and Shogun and Chuck are heading in the other direction with losses.

I've seen a lot of different ideas thrown around. Thoughts?

good idea... imo the two fighters mentioned above (hendo vs silva) have more chances of beating rampage...

I kid you not, I was coming here to post virtually the same thing. I would love to see a Hendo/Silva match-up for December. I do disagree with Forrest deserving a shot tho. I would rather see Machida get a shot as he has what 11 straight wins or at the very least a Griffin/Machida for title shot. Jardine I think needs to fight some stiffer competion maybe him and Shogun. I am just wondering who they are scrabling to throw at Silva...I would have to say Rampage if Silva hadn't lost two in a row.

I want new fights. We had that run of Ken & Tito, Randy & Chuck, Chuck & Tito, Forrest & Bonnar, not to mention the third installment of Nog and Herring. Now we get Tito and Evans II, and Silva versus Rich II.

These are all well and good, but the UFC roster is growing so fast, there is so much new talent coming in, and all the ex-PRIDE guys. It seems to me like there could be a few more new fight.

there will be new fights but it's hard to justify throwing some new guy into a title fight when there are still a handful of guys battling for the chance.

And I agree with a Forrest/Machida match except for the fact that the way the UFC does things, Rampage would need to be fighting around the time that fight takes place. I really believe that Shogun/Forrest was the contender fight.

I would rather see Hendo move down MW and inject some life into that division than see another rematch.

Not a fan of the Forrest/Machida fight either kinda leaves Jardine (who beat Forrest and the former LHW champ) out in the cold.

Yep. Right now it is hard to give to Forrest because Jardine knocked him out and beat Chuck. And it is hard to give Jardine because he just got knocked out by Alexander and Forrest just beat Shogun.

Somehow they need to clear this up. Perhaps a triple threat match? Or include Machida and make it a ladder match?

hahaha wwe ? na i think so that we can get the real score why not jardine vs forrest 2? then winner fights for the title... however sylvia vs hendo wont hurt as many people would like to see sylvia in the octagon considering the fact that he was not successful before... maybe sylvia vs houston alexander is better or sylvia vs machida.. the reason why this is happening because 205 is stacked with talented fighters.

Right and by your own logic Machida is like 11-0 is left way out in the cold?? I think Machida should fight Rampage and then Forrest/Jardine II would work for all involved. In an interview on MMAweekly Forrest said he wants to avenge his loss to keith.

The rematch would really help clear things up a bit. I still think Forrest should get the shot at Rampage. Beating the #1 ranked fighter in the world really helps wipe out some losses. But it seems like Rampage could use the rest to heal so there may be room for a #1 contender fight before a title shot, contrary to what I've said in other threads before
