Everybody wants a Conor McGregor in their weight class, because that's how you get paid as an athlete, and you get to go out there and know that people are interested in watching.
Cruz continues to be a smart man.

These post fight analysis and the ring side ones when they're miced up are the best. DC is probably the most analytically correct commentator. Stan, Bisping, Anik are mediocre at best. Hardy is actually decent along with Rashad and Kenflo. DC imo has the true champion mindset.

People keep saying that Diaz is the same size...I don't get it. He's not a big welter weight by any means, but he's certainly longer, rangier, and bigger than Conor.

I'd like to hear more analysis from others.

You guys make no sense to me. Give me an example. Yea, Cruz uses his intellect to talk circles around guys. Does Conor not do the same? He called Diaz's group crackhead esses.....for focks sake.

So if one guy says I am going to kick so and so's ass that is not bullying but using your mind to talk circles around a guy is bullying.

Don't understand Joa's comparison. The guy who has an A in math here also has a world title and a streak of wins dating back a long long time.

Not sure why Cruz gets so much hate. Is his trash talking the same as we see routinely? No. And that is a good thing. Should he tell Cody he will take his head clean off? Should he brag how much he makes in comparison?

I don't get it.

Because "I have the least % of strikes landed against me in the UFC" is a fukin cringe worthy way to respond, no matter what you have done in the sport. Just running off quoting statistics on his fingers as a reason why he will beat someone, wtf is that?

And It proves nothing, who cares about his stats against previous fighters? You know what is even better, going full nerd myself, that significant strike defense... yes he is first, with 72.1% you know who is second? John Makdessi... 3rd... motherfukin Ryan Bader. What a useful stat, i see why he always brings it up.

Its dumb, he tries to sound smarter than his opponents, but really.... he is just a better talker, his logic is all over the place but brain dead fuks like TJ Dillashaw will never pick up on that.

Me too, once in the little sit down chat thing they had with him and TJ.... then against Faber for there 3rd fight. Thats two for two since coming back with his analyst mindset, and it bugs me, he didn't bug me before.

and then there was calling out that writer (Jack Slack i think) calling him a moron for saying the fight with TJ would not be "easy" (it wasn't)
