Sure, but people on a forum do not have to take into account injuries, time outs, suspensions and fighters just not wanting the fight they are being offered.
Yeah that's where John8204 deserves a lot credit for all his after event match-ups. You can tell he spends quality time putting together his fights for everyone to comment on. I know others start these threads but John seems to after every major event.
Ninja said I don't create the threads(though I have been recently), I actually hold off creating the thread to give Shady the chance to start the thread.
He also does everyone on the card, for me it's about finding 10-20 fights worth talking about.
He is not being fired, he is retiring. Silva has been doing the job for 20 years and has tried multiple times in the past to retire, only for the UFC to throw more money at him. The guy is w-e-a-l-t-h-y WEALTHY. This is the perfect time for him to retire.
I bet most people don't have a clue as to what Silva does or how tough a job it is.
And apparently he made off with some of that $4 billion that was used to buy Zuffa. Maybe that's another reason why he's leaving. Either way it should be interesting to see who replaces him.
If it's retirement it is well deserved and hopefully he takes the rest of his time with the company to properly train his replacement. But yeah it is possible that he doesn't want anything to do with big money matches that don't make sense. In reality McGregor vs. Diaz 2 didn't make sense but made money so go figure.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
