i enjoyed

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

What I think? I am not going to bother reading the article. Everyone has their opinions. Neither was better than the other unless you look at what happened. Pride did not win over the US fans. People whine and complain about all the NEWB TUF fans or whatever lame thing they call it, but these new fans are what made MMA what it is today. There will always be the ones out there that say UFC is the best or that pride is the best. Pride couldn't keep itself going. They aren't the best obviously. Most fo the argument of who is better is just people being ignorant and trying to make their opinions out to be the truth. It is all based on opinion. I know many people that think College football is better than NFL. Doesn't mean a damned thing

not to mention its a fact that quintin rampage jackson was approached by pride fc execs to throw a fight.....in the end he refused and went on to give his all in the fight....unfortunately he lost anyways

Because you didn't read it seems you speak with ignorance. This is not saying either organization is better. It is saying they are both good, and both have the best fighters in the world. Neither organization has the best fighters over the other. They are both on top of the game, and both have all the best fighters. It also tells things like how pride made some of their fighters look better then they were. Either way it's all about the UFC now. Thats what happens when you buy out the only real competition!

The bit in this article where they talk about Pride making the fighters look dominating by giving them less than top competition really has me wondering if Dana can fight the temptation to take a page out of Prides book to rebuild the inevitable Lidell/Silva bout to where it is once again worthy of headlining a PPV.
