Belcher vs Starnes added to UFC 77

Source: UFC® : Ultimate Fighting Championship®

Starnes have a good win against Chris Leben, who just knocked out highly regarded Terry . His move to American Top team seems to be working wonders for him.

Alan Belcher is also an aggressive fighter. Hope this turns out a great fight and Starnes comes out winner.

Who knows? He might turn out to be a contender at the weak 185 lbs division

You're late, but that's okay, since we can discuss the actual fight and fighters in here.

Belcher takes this, and he takes it in freakin' style. Belcher has better stand-up and is not a dumbass on the ground. Dude has heart, too, and I think he'll mentally break Kalib in the first. Rinse and repeat. Anyway, this is a solid match-up, as I dig Belcher and dig a motivated Starnes.

Man, if Starnes would learn to finish a fight and put more of his heart into it, he could semi good in the MW division.

Starnes by Split Decision.

I'm taking Starnes by TKO. Let's hope someone at American Top Team can get this guy to live up to some of his potential.

Should be an amazing fight, Belcher is no slouch and will bring it.

TEAM LORD:
1. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
2. Nate Marquardt
3. Goran Reljic
4. Amir Saddolah

RANKING: TBA
TOTAL POINTS: +TBA

i'm a fan of kalib starnes. i just really hated how he gave up on the fight with kendall grove in TUF. i really think starnes is a lot better than grove, but he pussed out that fight and overestimated kendall, which forced him to have some kind of fear or something.

Yeah...as a Canadian I was embarrassed by the way he pussed out. I believe his ribs where cracked...and although painful not debilitating. You can grit your teeth and get through this. Know from experience...

I didn't really care if he just disappeared and was kind of surprised that Dana signed him.

MY FIVE

1. George St. Pierre
2. Anderson Silva
3. Fedor Emelianenko
4. Don Frye
5. Kenny Florian

Oh yeah, Kalib was a heavy favorite for that season, he whooped alot of ass until that injury.

Hes a very talented fighter with a ton of potential I want to see him go far in the UFC and maybe win a title someday. I wanna say I'll always watch him fight but I dont think Im going to get 77, doesnt interest me the least bit.

Also, Starnes came out to Rage Against The Machine @ 73, I thought that was kool.
