Vera is going to beat Tim, even if he trains with Couture. Tim does not have what it takes, at this time, to beat Vera. He is young, they both are, and he still has time if he can focus on getting in shape and to stop focusing on what everyone thinks about him and just does what he used to do best. In the mean time though he will need to get a lot more rounded out skill-set wise. Vera is the more rounded of the 2 in this fight and I think that he will control Sylvia no matter where it goes.

Lol, 2 days training with Couture will make a small difference

Probably spent the time trying to work with him to defend that punch that sent him on his ass.

It's probably mental training before the fight, Not the physical training.

That is your opinion. I am guessing you hate Sylvia and many people hate Sylvia and many say he is a crappy fighter purely because they don't like him, A heavy hint is your comment about "honestly tim won't stand a chance against vera". I know anything can happen but i am going with Sylvia.

Big Tim Sylvia spent the past two days training at Xtreme Couture. Turns out Tim is somewhat of a fashion plate. He’s been in town for the Magic Show (where new clothing lines are debuted for buyers). Tim’s got some cool shirts coming out this Fall.
He’s also good buddies with Mike Whitehead and spent the past two days training with our Pro Team. Tim’s next fight is against Brandon Vera at UFC 77 on October 20th.

it seems like xtreme couture is a new fashion line aswell

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn is...do not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

lets all keep in mind that vera learned to strike from Master Toddy. gg.

Pre-Pro doesn't compliment anything. Someone as proven talented in the "small shows" can look damn good in a lackluster pool.
This is Vera's first real fight and I won't believe his hype until he beats a guy like Sylvia. I wouldn't mind if he won and showed the rest of the MMA world that he will be a force, but you guys act like there was some Vera-Era where's he's fought the best, and can hang with the best.
Timmy has an Era.
