Man i hope Rich wins.

I love a good underdog.

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

If Franklin wins without any controversy he will most certainly have my respect. Well I respect him already, only not nearly as much as Silva.

Yes it is all those things. But, don't kid yourself it IS a form of promotion. That isn't a bad thing, in any kind of business of entertainment you need promotion. Outta site, outta mind does bad things to a career.

The proof is right in front of you: we are talking about it...and not only are we talking about it, we are talking positively about it.

MY FIVE

1. George St. Pierre
2. Anderson Silva
3. Fedor Emelianenko
4. Don Frye
5. Kenny Florian

its great that Rich is taking this training approach, but the most difficult part is still to come. last time in Ohio, Rich was inundated with interview requests, getting tickets for friends and family....basically just not getting a chance to keep his mind clear. I hope that he learned from the last time and is able to be completly focused on his fight.

Yeah I get that too. But imo it's the better kind of promo like you said. You leave it to the people who's job it is to do it for you. Not like trash talk, which up to a point is fun, but sometimes it just gets too much. It's like do you want call each other names and have handbags at five paces? Or do you want to fight?

Fav. Fighters
Wanderlei "The Axe Murderer" Silva
Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira
Ken "You got kicked. By a kick." Shamrock

WAR The CroCop!

I could care less = you care

I couldn't care less = you don't care

How was rich holding his own, i mean silva didn't even throw one punch. The only time rich landed a punch was when silva was reaching to grab rich's neck for the clinch, so can you explain how he was holding his own? That punch that landed didn't even move silva's head or neck.
