i could have predicted your predictions lol

man ive been on here to long

The most solid advice I can give to anyone who fights BJ Penn not motivate the guy. Lets face it, BJ although talented, is naturally lazy. Your job is to NOT convince him to step on that treadmill.

I have Big Tim winning this quite easily. Brandon Vera has been hyping himself up way too much and I think he's going to end up looking stupid. I just can't seem to stand Brandon Vera.. maybe it's his fans.. I'm not sure..

Despite his skills and impressive performances I've always been somewhat skeptical of Vera. He is a very confident fighter but I just don't know how he will respond in what is going to be the biggest fight of his life by far. If Vera wins he secures a spot in the top 10 IMO and puts himself in line for a title shot.

However, this is also a huge fight for Sylvia and I think Big Tim is going to come out and actually try to finish this fight. Sylvia is no joke. The guy has beaten really good fighters and is capable of putting anyone to sleep. Either way, whoever wins is going to be in a real good position in the HW division.

I'll be rooting for Tim, but I won't be disappointed if Vera takes it.

My prediction: Tim by TKO in the 2nd.

I am not really a fan or a critic of many fighters.

I am picking Sylvia to win in this fight and because of that i guess i will be supporting Tim but i watch MMA as more of an "observer" then a fan which is who i am but i admit it takes out alot of the excitement although when Parisyan, Nakamura, Sinosic or the few other fighters i support then i act like a fan during the fight.

Sylvia is a great fighter sometimes so lets hope Randy gets him mentally ready for this fight and that helps his attitude in the fight.

I'm not really a Sylvia fan but I do expect him to win this fight, he has a size and big fight experience advantage.

Vera has skill but I think Tim will overwhelm him in fact I would really have to question Sylvia's future as a top HW if he loses two consecutive fights to such smaller opponents.

Tim by TKO 2nd Rd.

like a lot of these other posts im picking tim as well to win but i secretly hope that Vera pulls an upset.

i dont like tim, i dont like the way he fights, i think he does use his gargantuan size too much, i think he is too cautious, i think that if he were a smaller guy he`d never have made it as far as he did, he has little technique, and lastly he crapped his pants in a fight.

but now that you guys mention him.. i just had to watch frank mir break his arm... sweeeeeeet,

I think your secret it out

I am not a big fan of Tim because I don't like his style. He's just too cautious, makes for really boring fights, when he was champ those 25 minute bore-fest main events were terrible, I am SO glad that dude has been dethroned by Randy. Now Randy comes to fight! So lets go Vera on this one .
