Exactly, His fight with Assurio was boring and the 3rd Arlovski fight was really boring. He was sick against Assuerrio and the Arlovski borefest was just as much Andre's fault as it was Tims. Andre hasn't been electrifying crowds lately either. Alot of people thought the Monson fight was boring too, I didn't think it was horrible, not the best fight I have seen but I still enjoyed it, I have definetly seen alot worse.

Me to. Couture/Sylvia was heading towards being boring if Sylvia got his way but that certainly wasn't the case. The Monson/Sylvia wasn't that bad either...I have seen alot worse and alot better.

Agreed with both Judoka & robb, Monson vs Sylvia really wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. Tim hanging with Jeff on the ground was awesomely odd. People dump on that fight, but really, it's not that bad.

That totally made the fight. When it went to the ground I thought Tim was in big trouble, but instead he looked pretty damn good grappling with a top grappler like Monson. He looked awkward doing it, but thats because it's Tim Sylvia, everything he does looks awkward.

people have got to understand that not every fight is going to end in a highlight reel KO or Sub, especially when you have 2 top-level guys facing off. I was on another forum and someone said that, Machida is a disapiontment because he hasn't finished anybody in the UFC. The guy is 3-0, not exactly what I would call a disappointment.

Yeah, exactly. The key is to win. Tim went in there to do what he had to do to keep the belt. If that meant fighting safe, then so be it. People rag on Machida big time, but the guy wins. He wins. That's the whole point.

So yeah, another great robb post. I don't think I've ever read a bad robb post.

Also, I actually hope that Big Tim brutally KO's Vera, and then flips off the crowd.

I really hope Sylvia KTFO Vera. People always dump on Big Tim for two and a half boring fights(I'm counting the Monson fight as only half boring). I don't get why people expect a champion to go out there, duck their heads and swing for the fences. These guys have familys to take care of. If they want to fight the safe way against a dangerous opponent then so be it.

Fighters to watch
John Salter
Chris 'The Chronic' Conolley
Marcus 'The Bruiser' Brimage
Adrian 'Guard Yo Grill' Miles
Andy Roberts

I'm not the biggest Sylvia fan but I'll actually be rooting for him myself at UFC 77.
