sounds like someone's calling defeat for franklin a little prematurely. granted, i dont expect him to win either... but still- thats gotta hurt his mental state.

if all else fails, i'd watch him fight at LHW.

Tanner's a guy who actually got better with age. I ask, how, in the world, was Tanner washed up when he was MW champion, with solid wins over Baroni, Lawler, & Terrell? Rich slowly and brutally picked Evan Tanner apart, and that was a really nice win, probably Rich's best win currently.

Loiseau was becoming more popular with the UFC crowd and was coming off a nice win over Tanner. Being buds with GSP helped him a lot. Well, you know the deal, Rich battered him for 5 rounds, turning him into a space alien.

Okami has wins over Swick, Belcher, and Starnes. He was definitely becoming more known with those wins.

So, I'd say those were some nice big name wins. Not everybody has to be Fedor-status, you know.
Idiot? what are you getting homotional about? I said weren't they? that isn't a statement its a question.

In line for a title just by beating two overated green TUF losers? and you say I am talkin sh!t?

MW will just become the Franklin/Silva show like HW was back in 2005/2006 with Sylvia/Arlovski.

Divisions evolve quite a bit over an 18 month period. By the time they fight a 3rd time (and they will eventually given the current crop of guys @ MW) MW will have some more guys to make things interesting.

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

I could deffinitely see Rich fighting at 205, could be some interesting fights. I think he's big enough for 205. But theres nothing that says he can't win against silva, i doubt it but hey it's 2007 anything can happen.

Roger Huerta = Next LW Champion

There are still fighters Rich hasn't faught. Marquardt, Lister, Kampmann, McFedries. There are probably more that I can't think of right now. Kampmann was supposed to fight him but got injured. Damn, there are still possiblities. Give it a chance. He hasn't lost yet, though it does seem likely.

Yes it is. That's why they call it home field "advantage."

the problem is that weight division is so shallow. there's nobody for any of them to fight. they need more fighters in that weight class!

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

I really don't understand Dana's logic here...if you have a guy who can beat everyone in the devision, and lets assume he cannot beat Anderson, how does that put your career in limbo?

Dana is crazy because he gives losers like Rich Clementi (spelling) so many chances but if you're the number 2 ranked fighter if you lose twice you're done??? That's just crazy talk.

He's quick to boot the top fighters who lose but is willing to keep the bottom feeding trolls around.

Guess it has to do with how much it costs the UFC to keep top flight competition and pay them the purses they deserve if they aren't constantly winning.
