I don't see anything TOO wrong with those rankings, it's only the signed fighters the UFC has.

Guida making the top ten, awesome. If he beats Huerta he should be in the title hunt soon.

Okami-Fan 10-05-2007 11:17 AM

ummm why is Gonzaga sso high still.....Kongo has one his last few fights and he beat Cro Cop and Aleander shouldn't be above Liddell or Griffin or Friggen Shogun
the middleweights are close to what i think...but Herman needs to be above Lutter and Lister i say Ed should be 10

These aren't even "official" unofficial rankings. This was copy and pasted from a thread on the sherdog message boards. Some random guy decided he wanted to rank the fighters and posted it on thier message boards, so they don't carry any wieght or meaning outside of what you want to give them.

It is a good premise for discussion though, so how about it? What would we rank each division? Someone should start up a thread for each weight class and come up with a mmaforum ranking.

5. Houston Alexander - That is the biggest pile of shit I have ever read. He's beaten 1 worthwhile opponent Keith Jardine, and IMO keith is extremly over rated. How Housten Alexander is above Forrest and Shogun amazes me.

It's funny how Sean Sherk was completely missing from previous lists and now he's all of a sudden #1 in LW. This is where he should have been all along so at least it's corrected.
