I don't really want him back, except maybe to get whomped. I enjoy that. He has accomplished a lot, but he is becoming an outdated one-dimensional fighter with no drive to compete. If he wasn't Mirko Filipovic he would have been booted out of the UFC by now.

They even gave him a fight he should've won. Kongo doesn't know a thing about takedowns and is a kickboxer who doesn't have Mirko's credentials. Of course, Mirko lost that fight. He could've & should've beat a B-level fighter, but he didn't.

Really, he should be booted.

If it wasn't cro cop i agree he'd be gone by now. However, he IS cro cop and i think if he can get his head back in the game he can be competitive again.

Can he do that? Who knows. If i were him i'd take 6 months off from training/fighting to recharge mentally. Then decide what he wants to do with his future. It's never a good idea to make career ending decisions at times like this.

POUNANI has a little shameless behaviour in the past
think of it like this if pride were still alive and cro cop went bak 2 pride. he would still have his rep tarnished. even a loss in pride wasnt as impatcful as it is in ufc. every fight in the ufc matters. hes not the main star. \

as well as a k1 and pride fighter he fought uin a ring his whole life

I think the problems is Cro Cop's style of fighting. When he was in pride he was a legit bad-ass. Now everyone seems to know his game. Cro Cop isn't used to fighters coming after him and getting in his face. And I know someone said this earlier (forget who) but we have Fedor to thank for this. Fedor fought the perfect fight against Mirko. Cro Cop wasn't used to people being the aggressor against him and what Fedor did was almost the same thing that Kongo did in his fight.

Mirko is still a damn good fighter and will always be one of my favorites but what he needs is to develop a new game plan instead of always looking for that one hitter quitter

The UFC also lets Randy take steroids. All because Randy has low Test levels. Kind of setting a double standard on the UFC's part.
