Cro Cop not to return to UFC?

UFC Roundup: News on Hawaii Event, Cro Cop, and More | UFC Daily

Cro Cop hasn’t been taking the company’s phone calls of late and his future is very much in doubt. With such a high downside guarantee to go with his lackluster performance, he has become very expendable.

I hope he's just taking some time off to get his head together. He definitely jumped back into the fold WAY too soon after the Gonzaga fight. He needs to decide what's best for his future, because personally I'd rather see him retire than take absolute beatings like we've seen in the UFC.

Come back Mirko and prove to everyone that you're still one of the best!

I guess he can't take fighting in the major leagues against some real competition. He has to realise that he is no longer going to be protected like he was in Pride.

Flame away!

Why do dumbasses act like Pride matchmaking NEVER put top fighters against top fighters? CC fought Wanderlei, hunt, big nog, fedor, josh barnett, kevin randleman, mark coleman, A. emelianenko, herring, fujita, sakuraba.
Granted some of those are not the same weight class but I think the point is made.

Mirko needs to take some time off and train like a motherf'er in that octagon. He needs to implement a new game plan other then setting up a LHK!

It's a shame that Mirko isn't into it anymore. The guy just thought the UFC was full of chumps, and well, you know what happened. It's a shame, he was a talented guy. Like someone else said, maybe Hero's would suit him. Mirko vs Minowa 2 could be fun in a, "Let's see Minowa get whomped" kind of way.

well

the problem with crocop is the same problem liddell is facing in my opinion. they are two one dimensional fighters and after a while other fighters have figured them out. im not bashing either fighter but the need to work on the other aspects of fighting rather then just stand up.

He wasn't completely one dimensional. He couldn't submit one of the great grapplers but he did have great defensive ground game. Not to mention against Kongo, Gonzaga and even Eddie sanchez really he was fighitng poorly standing too.
