Hendo may make it to UFC 78 ... Ortiz Rumors undenied..

Tonight on "Inside MMA" (HDNet Original Programming - Inside MMA) Hendo was part of the panel and the topic of him being put into UFC78 came up and he said it was possible. He also addressed the Rumor of him Fighting Ortiz, in which he stated it wouldn't be his dream match up, but he'd fight him.

He went on to say he would like another fight against Rampage as there would be a couple of things he would do differently this time around, one being more aggressive.

I would love to see Hendo fight @ 78, it would definitely make the card a lot more appealing.

Interesting, although the middleweight division could definitely use another contender more than light heavyweight.

He would kill Tito, and I would laugh. I don't dislike Tito, but Henderson would be one of the toughest guys that Tito has ever faced, if not the toughest. I think that Hendo deserves better competition, but oh well. It would finally prove a point to some of the people who don't understand his credentials yet.

I think it would be a good matchup for both of them. Tito could use fighting someone new, who isn't a TUFer, and moreover someone who is a top fighter.

Hendo would get a fight that, if he won, would establish him as one of the very top guys, in the eyes of the regular fans as well as our lot.

I know the MW division is hurting, but I don't care if he stays at LHW. He is a top-notch fighter that went the distance with the current champ, came up short, but put up a good fight.

If Hendo-Ortiz happens...I don't see Hendo losing to a GnP guy like Tito. This would be one of those 'bet the farm' fights for me.

chaoyungphat can only hope to improve
It would be great if he dropped down to MW because the MW division's future is not looking too good. Once Franklin loses to Silva there's pretty much no one the UFC has to offer. Whatever he does though, I'd love to see him fight in UFC 78.
