I think his "heart" and "pride" did not allow him to pull out of a fight he has wanted since Guy VS Tito.

Not to mention the fight speaks for itself, shamrock is a ground expert and purposly was avoiding working much from the ground, because he really couldnt.

Last thing i want to do is make excuses for ken but i beleive that is true, you want to hear "excuses"?

how bout gracie saying he trained to hard for matt and that he expected it to go the way it did, so basically he expected to loose and still fought anyway.
yea we could argue about this stuff forever, and we would never come to a good conclusion..but lets say ken was 100%, do u really think he woulda beat tito..i say it mighta been a lil closer but Tito has his number, and still think he woulda dominated him

I really don't even see how that could be a fair fight. I know there are alot of Shamrock fans around, but come on...
My prediciton is Titto is going to stand up with him just to prove a point, where he'll land about 3 good punches to one from Ken. Titto will then get the sweep. On the ground Ken will suprise everybody by managing to get an ankle lock which will be effortly broken by Titto as he grabs the dominent mount and grounds and pounds him till the fight ends again.

edit* opps wrong fight. Again, Coture would win hands down.

It would be a great fight, Ken would hang tough for about 2 rounds I'd say but in the end Randy would be the victor, whether it be now or in their prime. But it would be a great fight for sure.

no i dont think he would have won even at 100%, but thats not even close to what we were just talking about, we were talking about wether he was just making excuses for the loss and i say no, all the stuff about not being 100% is true, wether it cahnges the outcome of the fight or not.

Randy HELLO people are you seeing the same thread as me how could you think that Ken could have a chance against Randy???? Nice thread though

Romans 14:11-12... 11It is written: " 'As surely as I live, says the Lord ' every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' " 12So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God. May God Bless us all.www.mmaworld.org

over 40 tournament

we need an over 40 years old tournament. We could have shamrock, coleman, royce (alright, maybe not), severn, randy, kimo?, and some other old school guys.

btw I vote randy.
