Rumour: Mike Goldberg to be Replaced

During JRE Eddie straight up asks who is taking Mike Goldbergs spot - there is an awkward silence then the others skirt around it.

Hmm, interesting. I have no idea who I'd prefer in those spots tbh... they are an odd team and say some weird stuff, but yeah, just so used to them.

Man, I like Goldberg. He might say some dumb shit some times but I don't like the Anik/Stan combo at all. Nobody IMO is as good at playing sidekick to someone with extensive MMA knowledge than him. You can't have Joe/Stan or Joe/Hardy Or Hardy/Stan etc... Even Bas and Joe would be weird. You need the village idiot for all the endorsements and stuff. I think he's one of the best in the job that he does. And Mauro Ranallo's voice drives me more crazy than Anik...

You're always wrong!

They better keep Rogan/Goldie on as long as possible. Brian Stann is like watching Paint dry while Anik sounds like a robot.

I was about to state this, but in a more diplomatic way. Besides I like the part where Goldberg says "here we go!" Always gets me pumped every time.

They (WME) are axing everyone. They should think very carefully before they rock the boat too much.

I actually like Bas, thought he was funny. Bas and Rogan make no sense, they're both color men. One has to be a play by play.

What do you mean you don't like Anik? How can you not like his awesome trendy Catch Phrases like when a guy throws a 1,2 and misses both and Anik like a pro says "Punches in Bunches" he has tons of other dumb shit I hear him say but I can't remember off the top of my head. Stann is just too nice he doesn't call bullshit when it's bullshit like Rogan. There is no better then Rogan and Goldberg period. The UFC is dumb as **** if they let either of them go.

I have to agree. Goldie and Rogan are part of the furniture.

What they should do is try to mix things up a little bit if they want something fresh. Anik And Rogan, Goldie and Hardy etc.

I hope they don't bring some goof from outside the sport in. People piss on Goldy for screwing up but he does actually know his stuff, he tends to leave the technical stuff to Joe but I've heard him go more in depth when working with less experienced colour commentators.

That was exactly my point. Like it or not he's the best at his job in MMA IMO.
