I kind of agree with you. All of the fights that have been super hyped for so long always end up being fairly boring. Silvia v. Arlovski III, Sanchez v. Kos, Hughes v. gracie...

It is too perfect and therefor doomed to failure.

I'm somewhat torn on this fight, on the one hand I've wanted to see this matchup for years but on the other hand giving recent events this could really be one of these two legends last hurrah.

I know everyone is always saying you can't count a fighter out after a couple of losses but these were both dominate fighters who have been made to look very average.

Does anyone truly believe that either of these guys can come back off of what could easily be a KO loss, that would be three in a row for Wandy and two in three fights for Chuck and KO or not its three straight losses for one of them.

I'm going Wandy on this one. Wandy is much more well rounded than Chuck.

The mystique of this fight was once the two top guys facing each other. Now that isn't the case. I'll still want to see it, but it won't be the same as what it could have been 1-2 years ago.
