Mark Cuban should buy the UFC!!

Instead of Mark trying to start his own company to rival the ufc..he should just buy th ufc that way he alreayd has all those awesome fighters and then he can resign Randy and get Fedor and actually pay fighters what they deserve. I never want to see a $3000 pay day for a fighter again win or lose. Every fighter should at least get 16000 when they lose...imo. Mark would do an awesome job..freshen everyhting up and All the fighters would be happy! I dunno just rambling here really
peoples thoughts??

I'm always curious to know what people's 'reasonable' fighter pay estimates are based on.

Personally I dont think the top guys are so bad. I do think sometimes the guys theyre fighting should be payed something that at least is closer to that. Paying Chuck that much and Jardine so little really shows that they thought Chuck would run through him. Also I think lower card fighters shouldnt get any less then around 10k. Making 3k off a fight and then not even knowing if youll get another fight again kind of sucks. Although I do think if youre a top draw for a ppv like Randy you should be getting a piece of what that ppv brings in.

If Couture made $50,000 (made up) for his first fight with Chuck, then Stanley Johnson (8-0 and made up) on his UFC debut would inherit Couture's credentials and popularity while he fights Jose Damingo (7-1 and made up) who will also have the same deal.

Or if Chuck makes $300,000 to lose to Jardine who makes $14,000 to win, before the fight Jardine will inherit Chuck's credentials and popularity, no contracts - just a straight inheritance.

Also, If Organization A pays more than Org B, then the people who run Org B are baaad baad people.

MATT WIMAN had a higher base salary for his fight than Keith Jardine.

Hopefully Jardine got at least a small cut of the pay per view buys. I mean, how can Wiman be making more than Jardine? I just refuse to believe it. It can't be true.
There has to be a lot more undisclosed amounts of money being distributed to the fighters.

They need to be making that shit more public then to quiet these people who are bitching about it all the time. Saying dont worry Im taking care of these fighters doesnt really mean dick to me without evidence. All I am able to see is fighter base salaries and bonuses on knockouts, FoN, Subs, etc.

I've always been confused as to why people think Jardine should have been paid closer to what Chuck was paid. Chuck Liddel wasn't handed a $500,000 fight, he earned it. What had Jardine earned before this fight. He's lucky he even got the fight. Now he has a right to ask for more money on his next contract.

Fighters sign for 3-4 fights at 'x' amount of dollars per fight. Its like hockey, Sidney Crosby was the best hockey player in the league since his rookie season but he had to pay his dues and play a couple years to earn the top salary.
